MLB Thread - 2024

I know this was mostly a joke about the Dodgers, but I'm hoping he has a bounce back year. He's struggled a bit since his record setting 56 home run season in 2022. Also, I'd still rather see him on the Dodgers than the Yankees.

I respect the hell out of their owners and system. One of the ever best farms, absolutely willing to spend every penny possible to win. I’m not salty. I’m jealous. I wish my team would just go all/in like this. And anyone who says otherwise is lying. lol

No I'm not talking about the dodgers org, I'm talking about all these weenie players just joining the prime LeBron Heat to get carried to a WS

Are these guys really going to be like “I’m going to play for less and probably lose World Series too!” There’s zero reason not to play for the Dodgers if they want you. It’s not like they’re taking pay-cuts to play with their friends.

LOL. Dodgers doing all this just to lose to the Sacramento A’s in Game 4 at Sutter Health Park.

I get it, it's just super lame. This is basically the equivalent of Dwight Howard, and Kevin Durant going to join the 2012 Miami Heat on min value contacts, but still getting their max deals because of "deferred money"

They have to institute a hard cap at some point, right? This is ridiculous.

Another new day and the Dodgers signed another closer because of course they did!!! It’s hilarious. I’m not even a little mad any more.

It sure sounds like Bay Area baseball fans are about to become victims of the Wal Mart effect.
