Huerter having a whole on ball shot creator aspect to his game that we never see because he’s ridiculously good off ball is something else. It was a horrible trade when it happened but now that Huerter’s sorta shown flashes of developing into a bonafide 3rd/4th option guy, it just might be one of the worst trades of the last five years.
Sure Atlanta’s probably going to get our pick next season but they’re probably getting our pick because Red Velvet has turned into one of the best shooters in the league and is still on an extremely affordable contract for the next three years after this.
I’m just gonna keep catching strays from you for the rest of time because I didn’t want Keegan once upon a time, aren’t I?

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but one wet year and one good snow pack isn't going to break decades-long drought conditions. My wife works in water and she's made this abundantly clear to me.
We're probably heading out of "extreme drought" territory, which is definitely a good thing. The reservoirs are more full than they've been in years; also a good thing. But we're a long ways away from the drought being a fleeting concern for Californians.
The Kings breaking their playoff drought, however, is looking "extremely likely," and if they keep improving (and manage to plug a couple of roster holes at the trade deadline or in the offseason), they could very well be a perennial playoff team.

By the way, speakng of glorious. I'm in Serbia. Been in the country a few hours by bus from Bulgaria. Had to go into a couple stores, take a taxi. They all know Vlade, Peja, Bogdan of course. The entire country are Kingsfans! Being from Sacramento is almost like being an honorary citizen! I have thanked the people of Serbia for Vlade Divac.

Agreed, I didn't like Lyles initially, but his effort is among the most consistent. He's got some great playmaking instincts. He's not a great athlete, but he doesn't give up and is an integral part of the team. He's keyed several wins. Monk brings good energy, but needs to get his shooting back on track.

I found Bulgaria to be just wonderful. I'm really kind of falling in love with eastern Europe/the Balkan peninsula here in general. I will say there is a marked difference though in the people from Bulgaria to Serbia. You notice it as soon as you cross the border. Serbia, in contrast to Bulguaria, while still nominally "socialist" for most of the 20th century, was never really under the influence of the USSR. They did not sign the Warsaw Pact. This is reflected today in a very cheerful and independent character in the people. You still find that in Bulgaria - but you do sometimes encounter a desk clerk who thinks they're still working for the Soviets. Hard to explain - you'd know if you were here. Still endearing in it's own way though

hard to believe the kings made such a great hire. Coach brown seems to be the real deal! To look at the standings and seeing the kings in 3rd place, it’s bringing back memories of the early 2000’s. AND the 49ers are punching teams on the way to the Super Bowl? Sports life couldn’t be any better right now.
