The Cavs are currently running their offense through Okoro and Broderick Thomas and Thomas has looked like he doesn’t belong in summer league let alone the NBA and Okoro, as much as I love his defense and role player wiles, is absolutely not a good shot creator at this point in his career. Sengun is trying out there but it’s not like the Cavs are making things hard for him.
He had good block and steal rates in the Turkish league, number 2 in blocks I believe. In his first game in SL he has 3 blocks and 2 steals. It might be a trend
Mobley doesn't have the on-ball skills yet to really shine in SL. Guys like Sengun and Green really shine because of their comfort level with the ball.

Yeah, both Green with his experience last year and Sengun in a mans league are farther ahead, but it's like Mobley doesn't want to step on anyone else's toes. C'mon big man, get these scrubs out of the way! haha.
You could have simply said that Sengun is a good passer, which is true, but instead you went out of your way to make sure that the compliment to Sengun was paired with an unnecessary insult to a Kings player. Classy.

Mobley was that way in college, too. It's probably my biggest reservation about him, I just don't think he's got the mentality to be a #1 option on offense, and I don't know if you can teach that.

He needs to assert his dominance with those guards though and his coach needs to ride his butt and also draw up plays. He'll get into post position and they'll play around him. If he can't get it right upstairs he will bust.

Yeah. That's when coaching is mandatory. You have draw up specific screen plays or pick and pop plays for him. Coaches don't want to have to do those things but they need to think about value at some point. He's young, so there is time but they better start testing him now.
Sengun finishes with 15 points, 15 rebounds (8 offensive) , 4 blocks, 3 assists and 2 steals. Also took a charge and had the highest plus/minus on the team

I don’t think he has as much of a chance to bust as Wiseman but I do question the Cavs plans for him when they’ve spent the offseason trying to trade their best player while also re-signing a guy who plays the same position as their number three overall pick to a 100 million dollar contract and have absolutely refused to draw up any plays for him today.

They appear to be doing the same thing the Kings are, traditional 90's ball. A true PF/C combo with a bunch of stubby guards. Yikes, hopefully that becomes the IT trend, lol.

Rockets are gonna be fun. They're going to be beyond awful on D, but add KPJ and Wood to these rookies and I think they'll be able to score some points.
Maybe. Could you please list all the other players in the NBA you think he is also a better passer than, or are you just going to continue to just focus on one Kings player unnecessarily?

Also, starting to watch the VOD replay of the Celtics-Hawks game and really not seeing much from Nesmith that would really excite me if we had traded Barnes for him at the deadline. But the Celtics are playing super small so maybe it’s just positional hijinks
Might have felt better about it if we were drafting earlier and took a top wing and had Boston’s first to take a flyer on Jalen Johnson who also looked good.
I like Cunningham’s hoops IQ and his shot will translate. Still don’t think he has the handles to be a PG though. I see him as a big 2 or a reg sized 3. Secondary facilitator.
