Oh my sweet jebus so many of you hate ron but just love Brad and wish he was the sh!t.

I could already see it if Ron was playing poorly like Brad, man you guys would be going nuts.

WE NEED A BAD GUY TYPE PLAYER AND I LOVE HIS GAME.

There are two key difference between Ron and Brad which make me more inclined to have Brad around. 1) Brad makes his teammates better, I do not think that Ron does. 2) Ron can implode and ruin a franchise. (ask Indiana)

Last time I checked he didn't ruin the Bulls and the reason we suck is because our owners filed Adelman+Petrie traded Webber for chips, not cuz of Ron. He gets blame for everything. Did he mess up the Pacers? Yeah for sure, but he wasn't the only one. They still had a good team with Jacko and Harrington but they traded them for 2 horrible players and Jacko got in trouble there. Tinsley got in trouble there. Harrison, Daniels, and Williams are all in trouble there. Maybe the Pacers just take on everyone's problem players? Jackson has been fine in GSW. Ron has been more or less fine here.

No thank you. No one ever NEEDS a bad guy. I've said it before - I want someone who doesn't complain about his job and shows up every day on time, barring unforseen circumstances, obviously. I want a team player. Artest has yet to show me that he is one. I want players who lead by example. I'm not disagreeing that Artest is talented; I just don't want the baggage.

i love his game, i just don't like how he tries to take over at the end of games.

i'd rather see our youngsters develop right now

Well a "BAD GUY TYPE PLAYER" sure did help Duncan with Bruce Bowen being one of the dirtiest players.

Ron is relentless on D you gotta love his passion for the game.

As did the Pistons, and the Jazz, etc. They can be tough and nasty on the court without the extra drama. His arrogance is unwarranted. Ron Artest the person has damaged Ron Artest the player, in my eyes. Artest deciding on a daily basis whether he will or will not play just grates against me. I'm cool with having differing opinions, btw. I'm not trying to change yours.

No we are sharing opinions. And by the way how can you say that the pistons did not have drama they got sheed who is like the all time Technical foul king and dont forget about chicago. Furthermore if Ron played with his bad back last year and coming back almost right after having elbow surgery that should speak for itself.

The OLD Pistons. The current team is a bunch of choir boys by comparison. Sheed does nothing but whine and curse until he's T'd up.

I voted no, but not because I dislike him or his game in any way. As a matter of fact, I think he's the best we've had all year!

Ron just doesn't fit here anymore. He's overbearing on offense and it screws our chemistry up. Not that he isn't a great offensive player, he just isn't a mega offensive star (eg. Kobe). Problem is he tries playing and gets the touches that only one who posseses those skills should get, and I think that's lost us more games than won if anything this year.

For the record, I wouldn't mind keeping him if he'd take a lesser offensive role and concentrate on what he does best... DEFENSE! Problem is, I just don't see that happening.

Ron has done a number of things both on and off the court here that have embarrassed me as a Kings fan. I do not consider that more or less fine.

I think this is a key idea. Ron really does think he is the #1 offensive option on the team and that simply is not the case. But if the Kings got a player that Ron respected as a better offensive player, or maybe if Martin can become that player, Ron could have a roll that would be ideal. The defensive monster that he is.

Give me a break dude. The dog thing wasn't his fault, the dog had a leg infection that he couldn't do anything about while he was playing on a 2 week long road trip. He didn't know it was losing weight. The wife thing-come on man she went after him with a frying pan and he didn't even beat her like a Jason Kidd would've, he pushed her away and she scraped her finger or something. He's made a couple comments I didn't like but the guy bleads kings purple man. Just look at what he said after the Lakers game(in the news forum thingy).

Artest is a great player but he is a threat to do something stupid that could jepoardize the franchise. Really I dont see the Kings winning a Championship with him. Get the young guys in and build the franchise back up. Wish Ron the best, great player but the time isnt right for him in Sacramento right now.

There is more that I will not bring up....but if you have to make a litany of excuses for the things that have happenned maybe the whole "if it look like a duck and walks like a duck" cliche holds true. Opinions are what they are, just opinions. My opinion of Ron is that I would rather have him gone for our organizations sake.

What does "stay" mean? As in opt in? I prefer that he doesn't opt out, but only so we can trade him and not lose him for nothing. Where does that put me?

HELLLLLLLLLLLL NO!

I really dislike Ron, and cannot wait until the end of the season. Hope he gets the hint, and realizes that not many fans in Sacramento really want him here.

He wants to be the leader, but he has no leadership qualities. He doesn't lead by example, and is a bad team player. It's like having a boss who knows nothing about the job who you don't know if they are going to be there or not each day..

No, more like not many people on KINGSFANS.COM want him here. Most of the Kings fans I know in real life still want him here.

All except for one (Kings fans that I know personally) want Ron here. We are talking 20+.. The one happens to be my mother, and she isn't really that knowledgeable re: the Kings..
