NEW YORK, Oct. 20, 2005 – The WNBA Draft Lottery to determine the top three picks in the 2006 WNBA Draft will be held Monday, Oct. 24, the WNBA announced today.

Well, if the Monarchs ever want to upgrade or obtain good players, they can always deal with Charlotte. It's worked for the Monarchs before!

'cept we really don't need what they're dealing...unless they want to trade down in the draft (which Trudi should have done the last two years because I honestly never ever believed she wanted McCarville, I have serious doubts she wanted Powell too but she should have been able at least figure out what to do with her once she drafted her...but that's just me piling on her thought process again). If they wanted to draft lower in the first round, I'd entertain thoughts. They should want to actually use the player they pick this year because they should be able to address their needs better at the top of the draft, but I just don't trust Lacey's ability to figure that out even if she's drafting more for Bogues' needs than her's on the sideline.
