Being a Kings fan Ive gotten to see the kid dunk on us many many times(:() He should've won it being the best dunker there. The kid definately does have some impressive hops.
 
I wasn't that impressed with the Dunk Contest and I hope this is its last year.

If I wanted to see people leaping over chairs and bouncing balls off their head then I would go watch the Harlem Globetrotters.

Somone commented about the announcers being better then ESPN. I think they were just as bad at times if not worse.

And why not have Berman announce the Dunk Contest with one of the worst call tag lines ever... his Home Run call. BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK GONEEEEE.

I watched alot of the stuff they had on Saturday .... good stuff !!!

I'm always amazed watching Spud GET UP and jam the freak out of that ball.

I enjoy seeing the "players from past" and enjoy watching clips/footage from their HEY-DAYS !!!

It's all good .... legends/dunks ... first all-star games ... aba/nba merger

I'm sad no King's were selected .... I enjoy watching the game IF IT'S NOT A DUNK-FEST or STREET BALL game.

I wasn't going to watch out of MY OWN PROTEST ... but, I'd miss all the HOOPLA and there is alot of talent out there.
 
Its been the best by far in a couple years. Look at who was in it. No Lebron, Kobe, Carter... like the announcers said... Next year if it is Lebron, Kobe, Carter and Josh... it may be one of the best ever.

it hate to break it to you BW but the dunk contest is OFFICIALLY back

as for Berman..i like him...but he only knows baseball and football...and quite frankly i hate for him to be new and try to come do basketball...nobody would be able to stand him IMO

and i agree with Miles Berg...the TNT crew really makes the weekend even more fun...they make you laugh the entire time...if ESPN did it would have been a snooze....

the one line that had me absoltely rolling was when during the 3pt contest they were talking about Voshon Lenard and how much weight he had gained since going down with his injury and Kenny said "as you can see he gained a little weight" and Charles is like "a little weight, a little weight...thats like calling what happened to the Titanic a small boat accident...we're gonna see after this contest is over but im pretty sure me and him are wearing the same size underwear
 
Yes, Charles can be a hoot as long as you don't pretend to have him actually analyzing basketball, at which point he jsut becomes that annoying loudmouth in the bar that you never invite back to your place to watch a game. Keep him around as an entertainment specialist and get somebody with a clue to do the TNT game day shows.

LOL I know its back. One can always hope tho :)

I know a lot of fans enjoy it so its okay with me. I am just not a big fan of All-Star games and the festivities from any sport.

i missed the actual contest, but i saw all the good dunks on the highlights and DAMN josh smith was SICK!!!! the one over kenyon martin was really cool. kenyon didn't even move, and they said those 2 only practiced it like 2 times. thats pretty good for only 2 practices.

amare's was creative, but nash was way too involved for it to be something special.

i loved the one j r smith did!!! that was COOL!

i missed all the other stuff, but i was PISSED that Q won the 3 point shoot out. man i can't stand that guy. i was rooting for mini ashton. he better win it next year! he's made the finals twice, i hope he wins it next year.

too many suns ARGH!!!!!

GO WEST tonight!
 
Things to do on a Sunday night other than watching the All-Star game:

1. Sleep.
2. Watch Pirates of the Caribbean for the 9th time.
3. Read a book.
4. Watch all of last week's episodes of Days of Our Lives on SoapNetwork.
5. Catch up on that pesky correspondence from people who AREN'T Internet-savvy.
6. Read all the back threads in the main forum to see how things have or haven't changed.
7. Play poker for play money online.
8. Solitaire.
9. Rearrange your kitchen cabinets.
10. Watch the Project Runway marathon on Bravo.

Yea, I'll be watching it a little. And then when I get done making the popcorn, I'm going to watch that movie "Cellular" on dvd.
 
i personally cannot wait til Wednesday nights 2hr season finale of Project Runway...GREAT SHOW...i hope they do another season
