They wanted to add an additional LeBron "#1 Jersey Sales" James breakaway dunk in which he did nothing really that remarkable; other than get his picture taken and sell more jerseys.
What bugs me the most is that 2 dunks from the All-Star competition are included. I don't think those should even be in there with dunks that happened in actual games.
There is some Kings love, becasue Martin's buzzer-beating, play-off game winning layup is the #1 clutch play of the year.
Are you trying to get me going?.....the league promotes it's young stars like they are all the second coming of MJ. They do it all the time and it gets very tiresome. It is all driven by the leagues want for more money. It gets under my skin because I love great team basketball. It is why I loved the Kings a few years ago and the Pistons more recently......in the more distant past it is why I loved the Celtics and even the Lakers of the 80's......but I guess that does not sell jerseys or posters as well .....o.k I will stop now.
Um...I have addressed this one just recently. turns out that we get as much or more "love" fromt eh refs as any team in the league. Am actually quite sure the fans of teams playing us spend a lot of time bitching every time we drive into the lane and flail about looking for a call.
Really, if you look at it, there hasn't been much to love recently. When your team is crawling along in the middle of Lower Mediocre Land, you aren't going to have the news crews following your every move...
I would think the fact that Price isnt well known, and the Kings are not the best team that the dunk would have gotten more recognition, for the fact it came out of nowhere from somebody it was never expected to come from.
