Why does NCAAB have a 35 sec shot clock?

This is ridiculous. It's bad enough that the college game consists of passing along the 3 point line all game but given a 35 sec shot clock it becomes unbearible.

HS: 35 seconds
NBA: 24 seconds

Why can't the NCAA have an in between shot clock? 30 seconds would be perfect. It'll also give the players an easier transition into the NBA game.

It's the worst thing about college basketball, to me. I'm at the gym watching the Illinois vs. Purdue game last night while I'm warming up, and the Boilermakers swing the ball around, then back, put it in the post, the post gets doubled, so they kick it back out (there's still 18 seconds on the shot clock at this point), drive, and then kick it out again, repost, kick it out, and finally shoot a three. If you're going to do all that to shoot a three pointer, why all the histrionics? You passed that shot up twice already. The shot clock is the primary reason I don't watch a lot of college basketball.

Absolutely. I also feel that this makes it harder on the casual NBA fan to pick up on the college game. I can't stand all the dribbling and swinging the ball to the perimiter. The only post game happens when the play breaks down and guards overplay their D, leaving the post guy 1 v 1. I love the hustle and the heart, but the game itself is just not very fun; save for the transition plays, it's very boring.
