This game does NOT even come CLOSE enough to the REAL heartbreaker games to compare. No vote from me. There are sooo many more that REALLY hurt. This, while NOT FUN, was not a heartbreaker.

No contest. All of those others were more devastating than this one - they all ended our season...well, except for Game 4 2002...but an argument could be made against that.

This one is more an instance of letting opportunities pass you by, but there's still time to save the season...no matter how slim the chances, they all know they get another shot in 3 days.

Hands down 2002!! I am still not over it. Tonights loss was tough. This was a game we DESERVED to win, but it still doesn't come close to 2002.

2002 is on another planet.

An underestimated loss however is Game 2 at Minny on the brink of two road victories. Big ol' lead, blown free throws late by Christie and missed open jumper by Peja or we may never have heard Webber publicly call out Peja/Vlade and whoever else he was talking about.

After the heartbreak of 2002, the 2003 season was there true chance at reaching the ultimate goal, and after game 2, those chances went from great to poor.

I was thinking about that one too. Many of those great dramatic games up above were amazing and heartbreaking, in a throw a pillow at the TV, throw your hands to the sky, don't know whether to laugh or cry sort of way. But Game 2 2003...that one mgiht have been the most sickening, sinking stomach feeling I've ever had as a Kings fan. We were the favorites. That was our year. And suddenly it was gone. Knew it the instant it happened.
