Where's Jerry Reynolds?

Watched game down in Palm Springs at sports bar and a Laker fan wanted to know who the blow hard was on Kings Game. When I told him we all agreed to turn off sound and watch a better game.

haha the odd game of Bill Walton is fine but if i had to listen to him call every game i'd scratch my ears off with a rock.

Having said that his observations are interesting, shame he phrases them in such a stupid way.

If Bill Walton followed the Kings it might not be so bad. It is obvious he does not. At one point he said Cousins did not play in Summer league last year (2010) prior to his rookie season. Grant had to correct him and Walton admitted he did not follow Summer League. When Walton joined Jerry and Grant the show was not so bad. With Just Walton and Grant, Walton's lack of Kings knowledge makes him sound inept. He is forced to blather on in vague generalities and it sends me searching for the mute button.

What was the reason for shuffled chairs? Bill Walton replaces Jerry Reynolds on TV and Fat Lever replaced by Jerry on radio? Is this a one-time deal or permanent?

Seriously, if Walton is permanently on the TV broadcast, I will not watch the games much (or be forced to mute them).
His inane blather is like fingers on a chalkboard to me.
Good thing he's only on a few games a year.

My guess is the hiring of Grey and Walton was in anticipation of the team moving to L.A. and now we are stuck with them until it sorts itself out.

Per official site of the kings under Broadcasting:

Jim Gray begins his second season as the Kings special correspondent. The 11- time national Emmy Award-winning sportscaster will serve as the team's reporter for 20 games this season, over special Kings events, and conduct interviews with high-profile figures around the world to be aired on Kings broadcasts

Bill Walton begins his second season as the Kings Special Basketball Analyst. The Emmy Award winning sportscaster will provide expert analysis and commentary on a selection of Kings radio and television broadcasts throughout the season

Reynolds is also a member of the Kings Broadcast Network talent team, working as a color analyst for all the club's televised contests.

There is nothing on the site Regarding Fat Lever who usually co-hosts with Gary Gerould

With Walton only supposed to be there for selected games and in the past has only joined Grant and Jerry for portions of the broadcast
my wild guess is that maybe Fat Lever was sick or could not do the game and since Walton was there he hopefully took over for Jerry while Jerry subbed on the Radio for Fat Lever.

I hope this is just a one time fluke I can take Walton in small doses, but thru the whole game? If he is going to do this all season when he is in town then just I will be soooo upset

I can't stand Walton. He blurts out things with no first hand knowledge of recent history, and does so in a way that borders on condesention. He also constantly contradicts himself, which drives me nuts. I don't need him or Gray, who is nothing but a backstabbing, glory seeking shill. If Gray saw Lebron James laying in the street bloodied and dying after being hit by a truck, he'd stick a mike in his face and ask him whether he had the walk sign or not, and didn't wish he'd gone to college and learned to read.

Like cable news and action movies, Walton is there as entertainment not hard factual analysis. I loathed him during that Kings/Lakers rivalry but find him pretty amusing now. "player X grabs the greatest rebound in the history of basketball". So ridiculous it's funny.

I can feel the murderous rage Grant has whenever Bill speaks. He's just silent because he can't even believe what he is hearing, and is trying not to lose it.
