I'm the biggest King's fan up here in Spokane, WA and a big Gonzaga fan as well but i was wondering what happen to Dan Dickau? Last I heard was that he was traded from the Hornets to the Celtics but his name is no where to be found on either rosters.

Just curious,

i dont know but hes doing pretty good.... he was averaging like 13 points 3 boards and 5 assists last time i checked

Man, we shouldn't have ever traded him. We got a first rounder out of it I think, but he woulda been very valuable since bobby was always hurt.

Yeah, this was reported back in August, but they have been processing the move (Dickau meeting the org.) and what they give back to Hornets. He'll be in their camp, and probably wins the starting PG job.

Maybe, but he took a LONG time to develop. In fact even this time last year he was barely clinging on in the league and just bouncing from team to team to team putting up ugly numbers. One of the real cinderella stories last year how he managed to emerge in New Orleans and become a solid starter for them. But nto at all sure we would have been able to wait that long for him to come into his own.

That's true brick. I don't know how much playing time he got in other teams nor do I know how much playing time he woulda had with us, but I think last year he emerged cause he was getting a lot of playing time. But I could be wrong. Not something to stress up on anyways.

Who knows, he coulda been better than anthony peeler as a backup point. Not saying that he's a better player than peeler, but peeler never seemed like he could play the point that well.

I've never seen Peeler as a PG, more as a defensive two-guard who can shoot the three.

wasnt peeler playing backup point for us while bobby was out during the end of the 04 season and the playoffs?

Actually, the deal was made ahead of time to get a future draft pick for him. Naming his name was a mere formality.

If I'm not mistaken, he was never a King. The "trade" was made on Draft Day. We traded our second round pick to Atlanta for a future pick...

Oops. Slightly wrong...but only that he was our first round pick, not a second.

Drafted by the Sacramento Kings in the first-round (28th overall) of the 2002 NBA Draft...Traded by the Kings to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for a future first-round draft pick on 6/26/02...Traded by the Hawks to the Portland Trail Blazers along with Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Theo Ratliff in exchange for Rasheed Wallace and Wesley Person on 2/9/04...Traded by the Blazers to the Golden State Warriors along with Dale Davis in exchange for Nick Van Exel on 7/20/04...Traded by the Warriors to the Dallas Mavericks along with Erick Dampier, Evan Eschmeyer, and the draft rights to Steve Logan in exchange for Eduardo Najera and Christian Laettner, the draft rights to guards Luis Flores and Mladen Sekularac, two future first round draft picks and cash considerations on 8/24/04.
