I said 8-7 - We end the month a bit above 0.500 (at a minimum). There is a good chance we will do better, maybe much better, but I like to keep my expectations low and be pleasantly surprised with this team.

I can see the emotional armoring has set in amongst a decent portion of you. Moral of the fan base is a bit shaky. I get it. Losing 4th q leads sucks ass. There's no denying this schedule is much softer than last month though. We've done pretty well against east coast teams so far. I don't think we lose to Nets or Pistons.

My bad. I meant 7-8. Kings will spilt with the Pistons.

Blake and Drummond will go off a home.

So.. We went 9-6 in December. I guessed 8-7 so we really did well!

OK I am a bit late to the party on this guessing game so I will go with...... 8-3 for the rest of the games this month making us 9-6 total. We need to put together a winning streak ASAP.

Considering at one point I think they were 1-4 in January that's not too shabby. They need to win at least 1 of these next 2 and it's not a bad month by any means.
Looking back, those first 3 losses and the suns loss might play a role later on. Those were such winnable games and would have put us in a much better position.

Great. Now I'm starting to sound like grant and his stupid "remember that technical." :p

Maybe but if you look at it like this then you have to look at other games that we pulled off when we probably should have lost (like the Pistons game).

The loss to the Suns was disappointing, but the Kings have the record they do because they are one of the best in the league against teams under. 500. In other words, they have done well against the teams they should be beating. No team wins every game against inferior opponents.
