What are you playing right now?

I've been playing Association mode on 2k9, and my first year I made the playoffs. Unfortunately, my 360, for some unknown reason never lets me play against the Thunder. It freezes before it ever loads the game. It is very frustrating. Anyways, my first round matchup was against the Thunder. So, I had to sim the whole series!! I lost 4-2. Sucks.

I'm playing Magic TG on the 360. It's too nerd, but I used to play when I was 12 and ... well... it's still very addictive.

Has anyone here played inFamous?
Yep. It's very cool, but I think Prototype is a little bit better. They're very similar (GTA-scheme with superpowers) but Prototype is more insane. Try the demo before buyint Prototype, maybe you like it more. Anyway, both are great.

Haha, thats kind of funny. My freezes every time someone does a very specific layup animation under the basket. It only happens like once a week if I play alot, but its wierd.

I just bought Empire:Total War and Call of Duty WaW yesterday so thats what I'm playing! :)

Has anyone here finished Guitar Hero 3 or Rock Band (guitar) on expert? 1 song left on each since forever and I can't pass them
I havn't finished Guitar Hero on Expert... i can't beat Slayer... its just to ridiculous. I have beaten both Rock Band and Rock Band 2 on expert though. Green Grass and High Tides was pretty ridiculous but after you beat it once it becomes a little easier and really fun.

Its probably the best Zelda of all time. Just no one over 12 years old wants to suffer the nostalgia and admit to themselves that.
That seems to be a really tall order. I have friends that own a wii, this will have to be inverstigated thoroughly, as I can stand nostalgia pretty well and go back at least to SNES times (although I might have skipped this Game Cube thing).

I'm playing the same game I've been playing for three years now: Civilization 4. I don't transition to new games very often.

When my friend is in town, we'll throw down on NBA 2KX (X being equal to whatever year it is), and/or Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Yeah I'm on Raining Blood for over a year now off n on. And I'm stuck on the 2nd solo on Green Grass. I'll pass that one eventually, but I dunno if I'll ever beat Raining Blood, that part at around the ~30% point is crazy

The only one it might be under is, obviously, Ocarina of Time

The thing is, Twilight Princess has at least equal if not better combat mechanics than OoT, with the massive addition of horse-mounted combat, a world many times more massive and diverse than any Zelda before it, far and away the best graphics of any Zelda, and some of the most challenging and compelling dungeons of any Zelda game. The story is just as epic as Ocarina's, though 10 years later the formula may be a bit watered down.

The one spot the game may fall is in the slightly muddled wolf form, and the game's predicament in trying to balance both forms of gameplay (gameplay as human Link and wolf Link).

Other than that, it is a masterpiece of a game and really, like the two 3D Zeldas before it, has the major disadvantage of trying to live in Ocarina's shadow. It probably is the better game though.

I just got wii Zelda (Twilight Princess) and began playing it yesterday. The graphics are out of this world! I'm blown away:eek:.

I agree with tradepeja that this might be the best Zelda game ever made!

Just finished Fallout 3 for the second time (with bad karma this time). It's cool how the endings are different. I hear there are a LOT of possible endings to this game based on decisions you make during the game. Gonna take a break from this game for now, but gonna play through it again at least once more to get the remaining trophies (neutral karma).

Also finished Green Grass and High Tides on Rock Band since I last checked in here.

Not sure what games to play next. Still play CoD and GH from time to time. Also recently bought Namco Museum Essentials from the PS Store. It's pretty good, it has Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Dragon Spirit, Galaga, Xevious, and Xevious Resurrection on there.

Oh, and thanks for the videos of Twilight Princess Jespher, it looks awesome! I don't have a Wii but I have a GameCube so I'm definitely picking that one up at some point

P.S. For anyone who has a Wii, please post if you bought or played Tales of Monkey Island. I used to be a pretty big fan of that series (still never played the 4th one though) and I'm interested in hearing if it's anything like the old ones. Thanks :)

Finally put in MLB The Show 09 the other day. I need to relearn hitting apparently, I will probaby stick to the ridiculously awesome road to the show mode since time is at a premium.

I played Wii Resort at my friend's bar the other night. The sword fighting was pretty cool, I sucked at Frisbee golf, and most of the other stuff looked really cool but I didn't have the nunchuk hooked up. I may have to buy this one.

Fight Night and NCAA Football are in my GF queue. FN would have been an insta-buy for me had if it had button controls.

I just swapped my office tv into the bedroom because the bedroom TV finally gave out on me. I put a new 40" Samsung in the office but I need to tweak the crap out of it to get the colors right so I have spent most of my would be gaming time playing the calibration game. Then I will play the re-cable the entire office and theater set up game for the second weekend in a row.

Dead Rising!

The best game I have ever bought for 15$
I can kill hours at a time slaughtering zombies with whatever weapon you can find. So many random weapons, and an unlimited stream of zombies.

Mindless mindless mindless fun for sure, but it is awesome!

Just finished my 2nd season with the team and we lost in the 2nd round to the Clippers :)eek:) 4-3. In Game One, Baron fouled Cisco hard on a layup and caused him to miss the entire series.

In the offseason, an "overjoyed" Spencer Hawes refused to resign and took a lesser role/less money to sign with the Rockets!

Can anybody answer my 2K9 question guys? I was a Live person until 2K9 lured me to 2KSports
No. Their will be no more roster updates. They don't want to have to add in rookies and off season changes because if they did that their would be little incentive to buy nba2k10... that is pretty much the biggest draw to buying new sports games, the updated rosters.

Ok some people are completely ruining Call of Duty for me now. For anybody that plays online, do you notice that some people have some kind of cheat or something where they can float in the air n pass through walls n even go way off the map? This makes it very stupid, especially in games like Sabotage or Search and Destroy where they just take the bomb and go right up in the air.

Since I talked about it on here, I fired Zelda up and went back and collected all the items I was missing.

So many bugs, poes, fish, and pieces of heart to find. And don't forget about the epic Cave of Ordeals. A true challenge of skill in a Zelda game is hard to find, and the Cave of Ordeals is it. I think that's what ultimately puts this game over the top.

I've also been playing, like SacKings, an enormous amount of Fallout 3. I didn't get it right when it came out, and I don't know why. Excellent game.

Another one I'm a little behind on is Empire Total War. Such a ridiculously great RTS. I'm not sure if its better than Rome, but it is very, very good.
