I am rather dissappointed in the new Kanye West album. I really loved College Dropout, but this album just seems, well, flat, compared to the last one. Some decent tracks, but really doesn't suck you in like the last one. Oh well. Sophomore slump, I guess.

Quality (edit:that came out wrong. Sound quality is bad, not the quality of the music itself) isn't great, but I like it anyway. Can't wait for this album. They're also touring all over NorCal, so I'll be sure to see them at some point.

The new New Pornographers album is also pretty good. A slight let down from their previous albums, not as fun and catchy, but it grows on you and I am starting to enjoy it now with a 2nd and 3rd listen through.

Been watching IMF (International Music Feed) a lot lately. Good alternative to MTV -- they play nothing but videos from the US and abroad. Mostly American, but more unknown bands than any of the other stations. Saw good videos last night by Talib Kweli, M.I.A., Morningwood, OK Go and a Japanese band called Wakusei (I think).

Saw that video on IMF about 30 minutes ago. Man, I love this channel!

One of my very favorites.

Currently listening to "Hip Hop Star" by Beyonce w/ Big Boi and Sleepy Brown. What can I say? Everyone's allowed a few pop moments.

It just popped up on Dish Network about three months ago (channel 157, for those with Dish) and I finally got around to checking it out a few weeks ago.
Thanx GGG

No dish in this household ...

Comcast Digitial/HD offers alot of different music stations ... all listening - no videos ... I do get a chance to check that out ... it's cool
