I can enlighten all of you on McGuire.
He played at Fresno State for one season after transferring from Cal. Averaged 13.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.6 BLOCKS, and 3.3 assists a game in 32 games with the Bulldogs in 2006-2007. Definitely one of the most exciting players I've seen in a Bulldog uniform. Set a school record with most blocks in a season with 114.
Drafted in the 2nd round by the Wizards in 2007.
Lat year with the Wizards, McGuire started 57 of the 79 games he played in, averaging 26 minutes, 4.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists a game. He shot 43 percent from the field and 72 percent from the line.
For some reason, he just didn't see the floor with Washington this year, getting only 6 minutes a game. He's a decent all-around player that can dunk with the best in the business. A high energy guy. Slasher. 6'9" 220 lbs. I hope he gets some minutes - I'm interested to see what he can bring to the table.
