We'll see. It was a spur of the moment thing while things at work were a standstill due to the holidays. Had a lot of fun though and was laughing nonstop while making it.

If we reportedly did "screw" Houston and Dalembert over, it can still come back to bite us on the backside. Remember Hayes is Houston's free agent. They still have his bird rights and can go over the cap to re-sign him if they want to. Obviously there is a strong interest from their part and they can either make us overpay for Chuck or they can blow us out of water with an offer that we could not match despite having more salary cap space.

Hold off on popping that bottle of champagne just yet because if we learned anything in the last week, its that its not over until the ink on the contract dries....and even then there is something that can derail it all (see voiding Chuck's contract in the first place)

Yeah I hear ya. The way this offseason have been going, I'm going to hold my breath until it's final and official. Chuck would certainly save Christmas for us if he signs!

While promising, we were also certain 24 or so hours ago that Dalembert will sign with the Kings.

Hopefully all goes well the second time around and we can implement him in our starting line up next to DeMarcus. I am very glad that we got him back because I don't want to see the Blake's, David Lee's, Gasol's kill us without any effort. What? Are you saying that some general managers actually subscribe to and utilize deception? And by the way, you're just a might too late for that caution on popping bottles of champagne. Me in a couple of other Kings fanatics are already into our third bottle. It ain't our fault we all thought that it was a deal done.
