Did you watch Webber commentate on TNT right after he retired? He commentated about as good as Henry Turner does, which isn't very good. I don't like to disparage people, let alone one of my favorite Kings. However, he may have been a bit jittery. I think he has a great personality for the job, he just needs become more comfortable on air. I would like to see him regularly with Charles and Kenny with less Magic. Now Magic reminds me of Henry Turner now that I think about it. E U

Webber is a vert intelligent guy. I'm sure he just needs time to get some experience under his belt. He certainly has the looks and smile for TV.

It'll be a shame if Kenny Smith takes that Knicks job; he and Webber appear to have great chemistry on camera. I think Webber's fit in pretty well in the booth in general.

There was only one thing that could have gone wrong with TNT Inside the NBA show and this is it. I thought that Barkley brough enough negativity to that show...

and pretty much all of his previous teammates. When he said that he felt bad for Jason Kidd because he is the only one trying in Dallas because he's near the end of his career and feels like this is one of the last shot he has, Webber was clearly talking about his own experience, and how he felt towards the end of his career. Meanwhile, Jason Kidd was probably the worst player on the floor in Game 4, and one of the biggest disappointments in this whole series. I guess TNT may be bringing Webber in for shock value...

I agree. In the beginning, I told myself to give him sometime to adjust. He still sux. He's so dull. Replace him for Webber.

It looks like CWebb is more cameo than anything regular on TNT with EJ, Kenny, and Sir Charles big stars of the show with frequent guests on set like Magic Johnson, David Aldridge, most notable during the season and on into the playoffs. CWebb, DWade, a few others, thrown into the mix during playoffs.
