We need a backup Center and PG

I don't think the Bucks would be interested in Miller. They are looking to add athleticism to their lineup and someone who covers Boguts weaknesses on defense and the boards. If you're looking for an athletic power forward, I would think Brad Miller would be at the very bottom of your list.

True and i just looked at Boguts stats he really is not that great of a shot blocker either. I would have to agree with u and i doesn't look like the buck would do this trade :(.

From what i have seen Mo Williams and Bell are not real starters. Mo has had great games at times in the starting line up, even scoring 35 in a game once but after that i didn't see anything warrent him to start. And i want to see Bell play well one for full season before saying he is a starter.

Where are you getting they'll be starters? TJ Ford's the starter, I'm talking about the back-up there. And of course Mo Williams or Bell would be the back-up for us.

Supposedly the Bucks want to move Mo Williams because of Charlie Bell's versatility and break-out this season. They have 3 good guards at PG, gonna have to move one of them. Won't be Ford, probably not on Bell, I'd say Mo gets traded. As if you keep one of Bell/Mo, they'll be wasting away on the bench.

That is were I thought u ment they were starters playing off the bench. I read it wrong and thought you were trying to say that both of them were wasting away, when they could be starting some where else.

But any way, i really don't think the bucks trade either of them because like i said in past post, bell is the backup pg and Mo has been great backing up the 2 and 3. It worked out great for the bucks, why do u trade them.

I meant the 2nd. As with "wasting away", would be in third PG spot.

I don't see them keeping both Bell/Mo because both are good, and they supposedly want to deal Mo Williams.

Mo Williams is a small foward?

Bottom line, the Bucks have a log-jam at back-up PG. Good possibility one of Bell/Mo is dealt.

Sorry, Mo Willams did not play the 3, I was mistaken. I thought when simmon's got injured mo steped and played his position. But it should have been obvious to me it was Redd at the 3 and mo at the 2.

To me there is no log jam. Mo plays more like a sg then any thing else, has backup redd at the 2 the whole season and mo played the sg position when simmons was injured. While Bell has just played pg the whole season. So to me there is no real long jam.

Bucks are gonna draft or deal for an actual SG/SF this off-season. Harris has spoken about it a few times already.

But, going into next season, there are no injuries to slot different players into different places. The Bucks have Mo/Bell, both at PG, neither at SG unless it's for a stretch in games. Both are good guards there at back-up PG, this creates a log-jam. Mo won't be backing up Redd because they're going to get a back-up swingman and they apparently want to deal Mo Williams away.

Bell played at the third PG when he came back, then Mo Williams got injured, TJ Ford was out for a bit as well. Bell stepped up, and showed what he can do and broke out. Thus raising questions with Mo Williams and who gets the back-up PG spot. Both deserve it, one is either going to be dealt or waste away as the third PG.

They could use a true back up swing man, maybe they have an interest in Garcia. Maybe a straight-up swap Garcia for Williams would work? Idk if they would do that though...

From Milwaukie Paper

"There are still whispers Bucks center Jamaal Magloire could end up being traded to the Toronto Raptors, and that super-sub guard Mo Williams could accompany him in a blockbuster deal. Swingman Mo Peterson and forward Charlie Villanueva are the Raptors most prominently mentioned in such a deal."

Hmmm, we'll take Villanueva and Mo.

Villanueva isn't going anywhere. It's more likely to be Joey Graham who gets dealt. He didn't have the breakout like Villanueva, and could fit in with the Bucks as a tough 2-3 swing off the bench. Could play that role for Toronto also, but if they want Magloire this summer, they would have to give up Graham.

If the Kings re-sign Bonzi a Garcia for Mo trade makes a lot of sense. Realistically there aren't enough minutes for four guys at the 2/3, and Garcia doesn't have the athleticism to be an ideal backup point guard. Mo Williams backing up the 1/2 and Martin backing up the 2/3 would be an ideal rotation. Both guys could get 20-25 minutes a night with Monia getting spot/injury minutes.

It would make even more sense if Petrie planned on drafting Douby or Diaz. Eventually, we're going to run out of minutes for these guys, But Douby or Diaz could play some point and SG.
