Warriors most likely to miss playoffs, again

Aside from what's already happened this season, and how that shadows for the rest of it - Nellie has supposedly said they won't even try to compete for the playoffs anymore.

I never got the Nelson and Warriors hype coming into the year. Yeah, Nelson is experienced and has the ressimae (sp) of winning, but he didn't and doesn't fix the Warriors weaknesses. Also, taking into account the injury concerns and possibilities, which unfortunately came true again.

At best I thought a handful of wins more than under Montgomery. Just because of Nelson's experience and player progression, and looks like it'll turn out so.

Also why I wouldn't "Oh come on!" as someone here asked me to, back in pre-season, when I predicted similar things for the Warriors.

Be quite interesting to see what they do in the off-season.

Has little to do with Nelson, and much to do with the team's two best players being out for much of the year. No team wins under those circumstances, and the Warriors have to seriously consider whetehr they can rely on Baron's health as a cornerstone inthe future. Makes that team go, but only for half a season every year.

Well, we settle off on Nelson. I think he had some more than little to do with the way things went.

Obviously the injuries were more significant to their season though. Really tough about Baron, as he was going along well there for awhile. I wish he could stay healthy for a year or two, top 5/6 PG when so, IMO.
