We were up by 4 and neither team had scored in like 3 min. 3 min left on the clock and Reggie had them milking the clock and setting up in the last 7 seconds 5 trips down the court in a row. In those 5 trips it got passed to ron with 3 or 4 seconds on the clock 4 times he had to shoot with people all over him. Ron wasn't the problem. We tried to win that game 96-92 by running out the clock instead of running our offense. The Warriors then hit the 3 and we were still up by 1. Instead of running the offense we did it again waited until 8 seconds to initiate our offense. We have got to be aggressive until the end of the game. When it gets to under 1 min and you are up by 4 then you milk the clock but not at the 3 min mark.

If brad had a jump hook or one hander of some sort then i think we would have had a better chance. How in the world does a 7 footer shoot a fadeaway over monta ellis? That is unacceptable.

Hmmmm! Our perspective obviously differs tonight. Ron was not the only problem...by any stretch...but, he was a big part of the collapse in the crunch...IMO.

Ron Artest beat the Kings tonight.. I am so tired of his "ball hog" ways.

Correction: those ************ in black and white lost the game for us...again.

There is nothing worse then losing a game because some ******** don't know how to ref the game properly. Sure we turned the ball over but come on... instead of going up 6 they bring it within 1 because apparently Martin getting mauled by Bedreins is ok.

makes me sick.

I have blamed refs before and for certain things - I still do and I always will but tonight there is no reason for that.

I caught the last quarter!

Great game! A Lin!

I was entertained. Some good post moves by Ron. Some good wild man
yelling from Mikki.

5-10 puts us on track for a 27 win season. Not good enough, but the right
direction.

What is he supposed to do when Beno milks the clock down to 7 seconds and passes it to him? Ron had to shoot and he was doubled twice in that stretch. Webber used to get the same thing done to him and ppl in here came on after the game and said the exact same things. blah blah how can Chris shoot 24 times. I love Kevin but, if he went 7-24 nobody would say a word because he is the poster child. Ron does it and some want him traded tonight. Chances are those same ppl wanted him traded before the game as well. Everybody has their wipping boy most ppl here its ron some its Cisco some its Mikki or Brad.

Kings actually got a few favors from the refs tonight, I seem to remember Mikki's heels being on the semicircle on a foul but the refs called it an offensive on the Warriors

Can't really blame the refs, just terrible execution

tonight might already be too late. I wish we can do it like day before yesterday

Well, personally, I don't particularly want to get rid of Ron. However, he has got to stop trying to "be the hero." We would have a much better chance if Ron spent more time (in crunch time especially) trying to make his teammates better.

Ron took several ill-advised shots late in the game, and there were only a couple of times that Beno had used a lot of the clock.

Thank you 6th..

Ron does not have to take the team on his shoulders all the time. You pass the ball to Ron w/ less than 5 minutes in the game and guarantee he will be the one taking the shot. The other 4 might as well try to get the rebound when he misses.

I am so sick of Ron, and Garcia's ball hogging ways.

Martin wasn't hacked?..

Marting gets lot's of calls where he is initiating the contact. Some of those calls are pretty pathetic. So when he once in a while doesn't get a call - I won't complain.

That one call didn't change the outcome of the game

We need somebody with a post game. Someone who can get us some points in situations like in the fourth where we can't hit jack **** on the perimeter.

Hey, how about that 19 year old seven footer sitting on the bench? Sounds like a recipe for success.

yes, he was hacked. The comment was regarding your language in the post. NOT necessary or acceptable around here, which is why it's been edited.

Now, back to the topic at hand...

IMHO Ron did try too hard at the end to get the win over Jackson. BUT he wasn't alone in making some dumb mistakes. I still want to know how you can have three key players with five fouls at the 5 minute mark and not manage to foul any of them out.

It's a loss. We move on. Houston in the house next.

Theus just said in post game comments that he told his players to GET TO THE LINE (meaning Artest posting and Kevin slashing) because the Kings were in the penalty with a whopping 8 mins to go in 4th quarter. The execution was simply not there in crunch time to foul out Baron, Jackson, etc. - which maybe results in a Kings win. The bottom line for me is that the Kings should have closed it out, but protecting a 4 pt lead against the 2nd highest scoring team in the NBA is obviously nothing. Also, what's up with those W's fans screaming loudly in the 4th "Lets Go Warriors!", but the Kings fans remaining largely silent?

I've noticed the fan's hearts just arent in it alot of times. It's almost like these fans are the ones who could never get to games because of the sellouts before.....they don't really know how to cheer the team on.....almost like they are the bench crowd, subbing for the old crowd of seasons past. There is no enthusiasm. I saw people sitting on their ASSES in this and the Spurs game when the house should have been ROCKING. It makes me sad that Arco Thunder is largely a memory. :(

This IS a playoff game, and a great memory...but watch the crowd! You can FEEL it...

And the same could be said of Salmons and Cisco at times. When recent games have gone well, the teamwork has been apparent. When it turns into 1-on-1 and black hole behavior, everything comes unglued. And Artest has no monopoly on that.

I decided at the last possible moment to go to the game. I didn't expect us to win and was even pretty happy we were making a game of it until that last 5-6 minutes when we self-destructed.

What I was disappointed in was the fans at Arco. I have never seen a crowd so flat. You could have put rocks in the seats that would have shown more emotion. I wondered if they handed out free samples of Lunesta at the door and a few of us just got missed. And this was a back and forth game, with the Kings in it most of the way, not some blowout. The Kings sure couldn't get any energy from the crowd.

I, on the other hand, came home hoarse from being extra loud trying to make up for so many dead bodies in the seats. A few really tried to get the crowd going and failed. A few of us tried to get a "Let's Go Kings, Lets Go" going, but people just let the Warrior fans take over. They finally played a lot more music and crowd prompting noise which drowned out the Warrior fans to some extent.

I expected the Warrior fans to be there and be loud, but what a pathetic bunch of Kings fans tonight. Maybe they weren't fans, just spectators.

During a time out early in the 4th, when there was no entertainment on the floor and a few in the crowd were standing and trying to get something going, I actually had a non-Warriors fan behind me ask me to sit down so he could see. (He wanted to watch the players wipe off sweat or the refs chew gum or ?) I think that was the only time he opened his mouth or moved during the game. I bit my tongue so I wouldn't ask why the h*ll he didn't stand up and show some sign of support or even signs of life.

/end rant

How can you, after having a good last game against the Spurs, come out and play like this? Again, we’re seeing the one-on-ones. Do we not watch the tape? We can win and become a team if we play with each other instead of against one another. Yet, for most of or all of the game we play individual basketball.

This has nothing to do with us losing but this game was awful (for both teams). It really stunk. There was some bad calls, and just ridiculous play. We were starting to end with momentum (with the blocks) and then we come down the court and someone tries to be the hero. I know, if we won the game we probably wouldn’t be upset; but the truth is, one-on-one basketball or heroic basketball isn’t my thing, I’m a big supporter in the team attitude.

I love Cisco, I really do and I’ve been a supporter of him ever since we got him, but this guy isn’t a PG. He doesn’t see the court well enough and he’s really a stand (or move around) catch the ball and shoot type of guy. Do they see something in practice cause I wish the guy would bring that to the game. So come on Cisco, I know you can do it.

Ever since the article came out I’ve really disliked John Salmons and his game tonight just really puts..I don’t know..I guess icing on the cake or maybe the frosting, or maybe a ugly layer. I don’t know…was is just me or did this guy act selfish tonight? He comes in like he’s pissed off that he’s coming off the bench, like he deserves to be the starter. I was worried about Kenny’s attitude, but he seems to understand what’s happening/his role. Now we have Salmons.

Again the bench, I love how they sit there and just c l a p with so much enthusiasim *sarcasim*. At one point I was looking at the bench and I think Artest was the only one who stood up…On a good note, Brad Miller has really improved his game this year. Great Job B. I love your new approach to the game.

Thanks for listening, I needed to get that out.

There's three things I've noticed from watching this. 1. Mike needs to shave his hair again. 2. Kevin needs to grow back those cute curls. 3. I Miss Adelman. I miss him so much. He's such a great guy, wonderful coach and we just let him go. I hope when he comes back, the arena is sold out and the fans truly give him the loudest Arco welcome...oh yeah. The crowds eruption at the end of the game was beautiful.

Isn't it sad when the crowd makes more noise for free T-shirts rather than their own team?

Still it was a pretty good game...now back to reality.

Houston coming next....going to watch how well the Kings play against them but actually somewhat want Houston to win so they can get a good spot in the playoff.

With Houston in next think we will hear from that clutchcity guy? It's been few years since he has stopped by :)
