Coming into night one of the NBA draft, everyone expected the Kings to make a trade to get back into the first-round of the draft, and Scott Perry did just that when he acquired the 24th pick from the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Kings sent the San Antonio Spurs' 2027 pick, with a top-16 protection, to the Thunder for the right to draft Nique Clifford.

I mean...If my boy, Nique, is even half the player (especially on the defensive side of the ball) that my other boy, Doug, was during his playing career, Kings fans, we have found ourselves one helluva player!!!
 
I was actually thinking Bonzi Wells because of their comparable size and the rebounding…but I guess Bonzi couldn’t be considered a Kings legend. Even though he had a pretty nice season with the Kings. Clifford seems quicker and more athletic. Atleast quicker than the Bonzi the Kings had
