Warriors @ Kings Game Thread

Unbelieveable, the only feed on TV tonight is the Warrior feed in Humboldt County. That makes me sick.

I have Warriors fans who think that Grant and Jerry are homers for Sacramento. Shoot, the Warriors announcers are homers for their team. I think that is like calling the kettle black in my book.

Also, I think it is sad that Warrior fans are coming out of their caves to support their team. I hope this is not a sign for things to come on Wednesday night when the Lakers come to town.

Lastly, it's time for Musselman to go. I did not believe him from the start. I thought he was a downgrade at the coaching position. I hope he is gone after the season and we can get a better coach who can get the team in the right direction. Oops, I forget that Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Larry Brown, and Gregg Popovich all have jobs. I hope we can find an upgrade at coach, but that will be very hard to do since only 10 coaches have coached teams to an NBA title since the 1979-80 season when Larry Bird and Magic Johnson came into the league.

I hate the Warrior play by play guys. They thought that was a stupid thing that Ronnie Price did at the end of the game. Please don't tell me your guys would shy away from that if they are in the Kings position. I think they are homers in my book and it showed tonight.
 
I guess t was not such a bad thing that I had to miss the game. I kept checking the score on my phone. That was bad enough. If I had to hear the warriors' fans louder than Kings' fans, I would have been upset. Hopefully, it really wan't that way. Is the game Sunday still on ABC?

It was crappy hearing the Warriors fans there. The game on Sunday will only be on Comcast Sports Net West.

Well I do think it was a bit of a dumb play -- reckless after the game was being played at half speed. Ronnie's hustle is part of his attraction, but when the game's over, you typically ease off and let it expire. I was actually initally concerend he was going to hurt Pietrus who was just playing out the string, but crashing out of the air like that himself...well, just scary. At a certain point its not accomplishing anything and its kind of a courtesy thing -- you don't make any reckless plays that might get me hurt, I won't make any reckless plays that get you hurt, after the game's already over. I'm not mad at ronnie, but if I was a fan of another team and he came flying up from behind to clock one of our rotation players in a 17pt game with 30 seconds to go and us fighting for a playoff spot, I think I would be.

I might have been angry, too, if I thought one of our players could have been hurt right before possibly going to the playoffs. However, Price wasn't being malicious, he just seems to know only one way to play....hard and with pride.:) He still probably should have not done that. He risked hurting himself badly, too, which we would hate to see.

Everything has reversed this season for the Kings, teams like Toronto and Golden State will make playoffs, Kings are one of the worst offensive teams, Golden State fans bus to the KINGS ARENA to watch a game? Never in a million years would I have imagined that. Oh well, just another chip on the crap table.
 
got back from the game. very energetic loss. was good to see. :D love the kids hustle and heart.

arco was 1/2 filled with warrior fans. wonder if the feeling i got was the same they used to have when we would fill their arena during our playoff runs?

there were a few people up in my section trying to outloud their fans, it just wasn't enough people. :eek:

what's the word on price? that was a heck of a hit to the floor with his face.

i'm happy barnes is going to the playoffs and we got another lottery ball.

Hey it can't be better. We lost when we need more ping-pong balls and the Lakers lost when they needed to win.

Just looking at Kobe's 2nd half performance had made my night. :D
