Video showing why the Kings appear to have no offense - what they do in practice.

I was about to make a similar thread, but the video description said that this was after practice, not during.

Cool! Now the Maloofs can save a little exctra cash on the halftime entertainment and maybe we can sign somebody to the vet min.

Ya know that is actually a good thing. Not Joking. Clearly he needs to do it more to learn how to catch passes so they dont bounce off his hands.

No kidding... its a start. I say next we stick him on a board with a log under it and play circus music while he juggles.. then we move on to the spinning plates..

Hassan has to be mortified this video leaked. He should redeem himself by shadowing Thomas for a day, blocking all his practice shots. Even the free throws.

When I first saw the video I also thought it was kind of funny, but after seeing that a second time I started to think about Hassan Whiteside himself. I've never met the guy, but I think I would enjoy having a beer and a slice of pizza with him. He's always smiling and seems like he has a good personality. There ain't no doubt that he has God given talent but, is he using that gift to the fullest extent? Yes, I can see where juggling a ball can be beneficial for hand and eye coordination but I expected to see Whiteside return with a touch of a mean streak ready to fight for a roster spot. I know he's been working out because he's carrying more muscle this season and going into his second season I was looking for him to be a real force out there. Maybe, think of a circle around his spot and let everyone know this is my area and if you want to get here you got to go through me. Look, I really want to see Hassan succeed but he really has to be a terror out there and more so now, where there will surely be, additional players coming onto the scene.

At least we know he has good hand to eye coordination. Hey, more important than you might think. Funny video though!

Just to clarify something - it is highly doubtful that Westphal/Kings ordered Hassan to learn how to juggle as part of a hand/eye coordination exercise.

IME, it takes people years to learn to juggle 3 balls - you either know how when you're young, or you just don't try hard enough later on to learn something so frivolous.

And actually, if you asked me who was LEAST likely on the Kings to be able to juggle, it would have been Hassan, hands-down first guess.
Goes to show you never know....

Took me about a week to learn to juggle, about 15 years ago. Never lost it. I never learned to do a bunch of tricks and stuff, but always wanted to learn.

Learning to juggle really isn't that hard if you take it a step at a time. It only took me a couple days when I was in HS (and it is something you never forget).

Agreed. Same here. Never tried basketballs, but it didn't take long to figure it out.
