Very Realistic One Year Rebuilding Plan

They can waive them... there are gonna suck anyway next year, and they can even use them as trading pieces for young ones to a contender the year after.

1. The Knicks don't gain extra cap space or saving in 2010 by taking on Brad + KT.

2. They still have to pay the salary of players they waive.

3. Like rhythmless said, you really should learn more about the CBA.

you keep contradicting yourself.

first you say a couple million for hedo (one nba player)isnt that much, but thats the exact savings ny (a whole team) would save for this year by trading marbury. so is a couple million a lot, or a little?

first you say that trading for miller/kt makes financial sense in 09-10, whcih it doesnt, then you say they can waive them. why would they trade an expiring, just to waive what they get from the expiring... a year later (17 million later). again, makes no sense.

youre just grasping at straws right now.
