Two LARGEST banners to be hung in history of ARCO Arena: Sneak Peek

Because 2 HUGE banners really matter? Am I the only one who sees through the BS? Instead of getting a new arena, we settle for HUGE banners. I'm sick and tired of how disgusting Arco Arena is compared to all the other Arenas around the league. Their scoreboard has 1980's written all over it, the signs along the walls that say "DEFENSE" etc. are SUPER TACKY and look like they're out of a junior high school gym, and I can't stand the way the seats at Arco don't even match the teams colors anymore. The box seats are crap, the suites are crap, but hey.... WE GOT SOME BIG BANNERS! It disgusts me to see that Entercom highschool or whatever it is down the street from Arco looks better than the place OUR CITIES NBA TEAM plays in.

I will not buy another ticket to a Kings game until they update their Arena, or DROP THEIR PRICES by 50%
Of course we go to see the Kings, no matter what the facility may look like...

But as an analogy, would you want to pay 80 grand for a Kia? Or would you demand that you drive a Mercedes if you're paying 80 grand? I'm just sayin......

See through the BS PEOPLE! Demand a new arena!

Pick your thread Mista. Just because you managed to complete a few hard won sentences doesn't give you the right to cut and paste your masterpiece all over the forum.

There were two separate threads for the new banners, I felt both threads should be enlightened. I never posted it in any of the threads that didn't already have anything to do with the banners.
:p

Well, if you want to win games you still want the veteran to start. I guess if they aren't worried about making the playoffs or a good start then they will start him, but I seriously doubt that. I don't think they will start him for the first few games, unless he dominates in preseason play, but lets get real he is a rookie and then he is a big man, and we all know how long big men take...
Just being a veteran doesn't automatically make you the better starting option. Especially when the other potential starter is someone with as much talent and potential upside as Cousins. Not to mention, Dalembert has a reputation for making mental mistakes in spite of being a veteran. Starting Cousins is a no-brainer.

Banners taken down at Arco Arena

The question is was that always the plan? I seem to remember back int he preseason that the big ones on the building across from downtown were going to come down at the end of November, were the Arco ones the same? Or was this a decision due to the problems?

They were supposedly there for pre season marketing campaign and that campaign is over. Gotta wonder about the timing though. Does look kinda funny 3 days after Grants Rant about Demarcus and the banners. Also, I think they were bugging the other players on the team.
