Two members of the Sacramento Kings' original management group – architect Rann Haight and executive Greg Van Dusen – are heading the latest efforts for a sports-and-entertainment facility that would keep the franchise in town.

Just saw that. Guess this explains why the mayor and Taylor (reportedly) aren't privy to it. and It's nice to see some other sources confirm there's at least something to this. Hopefully this will be enough to at least prevent the Maloofs from filing by April 18th so we can buy another year in which something can finally happen on the arena front. Something to put our hopes on at least. That's more than we've had for the last month. Also, if they do file before April 18th, it would have a far better chance of being rejected if there was a legitimate effort to build an arena going on.

Originally I wanted to film a documentary on why Sacramento needs a new arena and one person I wanted to interview was Rann Haight.

After filming in Los Angeles and later learning things were much worse than first thought, I abandoned the idea and joined up with the Here We Stay folks.
