Two glaring weaknesses, again

Once again, the Kings interior defense and lack thereof, has made an all-star out of a non-scoring center. Adonal Foyle had career high in points and most of those in first half. Warriors seemed to score in paint at will and Kings did nothing.

Again how much is Miller offense and ball handling worth vs. his inability to defend in the paint? or to defend any big guy?

Is Artest hurt? Is hi hip pointer a problem? On a number of occasions he did not jump at all and his defensive moves are not what they were several weeks ago. And why does he persist in long range jumpers? 2 for 11 and 4 for 17 I think....

First quarter was embarassing. But no consistency. No real defense. OK, we were missing Bonzi and KMart but who else stepped up?

Sorry folks, losing 4 of past 5 this late in season is hard to take in view of the poor effort for such long periods.

Why does Adelman not use Ronnie Price? He showed good flashes early but Coach has not used him in past 40+ games. He can't possibly be as bad as Hart and he is quick and pernacioius. Oh well........

OUr glaring weakness is that with Bonzi and Kevin both out we simply are stretched too thin.

Miller and Artest are playing heavy minutes and they're taking their toll. Ronnie Price has no defensive ability or tenacity. I don't particularly like Jason Hart, but he's like a persistent little mosquito out there.

We have no one to step in behind Miller. WE traded away the only serviceable backup center when we sent Skinner out and brought in Vitaly. Apparently Mr. Potatpenko is as inept as Tag, at least in the eyes of the coaching staff, so he isn't going see any more time than Tag did.

We didn't lose 4 of the last 5. We lost three of the last five, with wins against Seattle and Utah.

Price when he played showed he can be aggressive on defense, get steals, and doesn't have zero ability on defense. He hasn't played regular minutes in awhile.

I liked Hart out there tonight aside from his shooting, usually he makes at least 1 or 2 of his jumpers when he plays.

We are a TIRED team. We should have seen this coming. Petrie HAS to address the bench this off season. We MUST find a back up PG. IMHO, that is our most glaring weakness right now.

PLUS: Miller and Artest need some fire back in them. I don't know why it went out, but they both need to light it again!

True, but that has NOTHING to do with the fact that we have nobody to step in and protect the rim. Kwame Brown and Foyle going for near career games in the same week is just plain icky!

Sampson could do that if he ever got some reg. PT. Not like a dominant force, but he'd be a prescence there more than Brad usually is.

I definitely expect the bench to addressed in the off-season (big, a swingman?, pg).
