We had to cut someone to get down to 15. It was either Lockett or Ndaiye. Hopefully Lockett will find a place in the D-league.

The D-League draft is November 1st. I believe that each team can automaticly add the last three players from their preseason team that aren't under contract. Of course if a player like N'Diaye is under contract, then its a moot point. In any event, we should find out who is, and who isn't on the Reno team after the 1st.

I think that of late he's been much more effusive about N'Diaye. Combine that with the fact that we have a bit of a shortage down low with Landry out and a severe glut in the backcourt anyway, I think it was pretty obvious that Lockett's days were numbered.

I think as a coach talking about a guy that is most likely a D-league talent at best. (although you never know) he was very classy about saying good things. (cause its really not that important anyway) Malone has called guys out plenty in the post game interviews. the guys that actually saw game action and are under long term contracts that is.
