Trade with Bobcats

Biyombo/Gordon/Sessions for Thornton/Fredette/JT/NDiaye

Probably hard one for Cats to accept unless they see Fredette bringing new fan base, they see a better value for Thornton and JT over Gordon's expiring and Biyombo.

But would be good for Kings with a chance to start Sessions, who would be a good rotation player for IT. Gordon would be a good mentor for Ben. Gordon and Sessions are big expirings. And Biyombo would be that nice shot blocker next to DMC.

Not a lot of talent in this exchange but could probably improve player rotation in both teams.

No way, well if MKG is included then yes it's a good trade.

Bobcats, IMHO, would never accept this. Nor would the Kings.

I used to really like Sessions. He has not lived up to my expectations and it seems that teams give up on him pretty fast as well which means he's probably not meeting expectations where ever he goes. He will have great defensive games and will toss up 10+ assists and see the floor really well for a couple games, then he disappears for a few games and is bad defensively and offensively. He's the Andy Dalton of basketball players. Frustrates the hell out of you!

Doesn't look anything like Dalton!

This is a steal for the Kings... Kings get a rim protector and Sessions is a better backup than Jimmer is. Yeah Ben Gordon's contract is large but Kings get rid of Thompson/Thornton. Jimmer wont be a Kings next year regardless.

Not quite sure how much of a rim protector Biyombo is at this point in his career. He's undersized for the 5 and barely average size for a 4. His per 36 numbers for BPG range from good to respectable but, let's face it, he'd never actually play that many minutes because his offensive game is nonexistent and his free throw stroke is terrible at best.

This would be a steal for the Kings. Don't just think about the players, think about the salaries. Gordon and Sessions have ending contracts. I would do this trade just to get rid of Thornton and JT's contracts. I don't even care about Byombo.

I've watched Biyombo play quite a bit. I saw him up close and personal at summer league where I saw him play in three games. I don't like him at all. He's not only inept on offense, he gets totally lost on offense at times. He also gets lost on defensive rotations. His only redeeming trait is that he can block a few shots for you. Think about how often good defensive shotblockers become available, and then ask yourself, why would Biyombo be available. The question answers itself.

Sessions I like and have always liked. My best friend's son went to UNR, so I watched a lot of their games. Just like I watched just about every game the Kapper played. He started to blossom with the Bucks a few years ago, and since then has bounced around. The Laker's liked him when he was there, but after they signed Nash, they felt they didn't have a need for him. I assume they now regret that decision. Anyway, I'd love to have him on the Kings, and personally I move him right into the starting lineup and move IT back to where he plays best. Not going to happen though!

Jeff Taylor is done for the season with a torn Achilles. MKG is hurt. Outlaw would be a good fit there now

Damm shame about Taylor. He was one of my favorite players at Vandy, and I had hopes that the Kings might steal him in the second round, but alas, it wasn't to be. Terrific athlete, and up to now, he's been very durable. I'd trade Outlaw for an injured Taylor, but I doubt they would do it.

Agreed. Taylor was a guy I thought could be a 2nd round steal for the Kings as a nice roleplaying (and hopefully starting) SF.
