If you had any idea of how much control I showed in NOT posting my first reaction to this comment, you'd be very, very, very impressed.

;)

we are stuck with both SAR and KT for the rest of their contracts due to the fact that SAR is old and slow, and KT is a 6'7 PF that whines and is a cancer. The only way we're going to get rid of either one is to bye them out.

I so hope we resign KT when his contract is up, i want him to retire a king for he is my fav player of all time...yea trade this man.

Wow, I am shocked at what I am hearing. Talent level and ability wise I wouldn't trade Reef or even Kenny for that matter for Juwan.

Juwan Howard is SAR with a much better contract. If you could trade either of them for Juwan, you should do it ASAP. Juwan and SAR are soft big men who can still score but can't play defense or rebound.

Juwan was actually regarded as a very important veteran presence in Houston who was a team leader, led team huddles, organized out of practice activities, etc... He was a team leader in every sense of the phrase.

The Kings would be idiots not to do a trade like that.

howards contract is shorter than reefs and thomas.... i dont care about him as a player. but his contract is exactly is what we need...

gerald green is just a player that i want on the team eventhough it isnt gonna happen.

I would love to hear what KT has to say about the Kings acquiring Moore, Hawes, re-signing Williams, and signing Watkins. I bet his soundbite would be something like..."I'm just hoping that this helps the team and I'll contribute however coach needs." .............NOT!

I can't believe I'm doing this but...

Kenny Thomas didn't ask to come to the Kings. I'm pretty sure he was and is probably as unhappy being here as we are having him. He's not the devil incarnate as some of you would like to believe.

He's a professional basketball player who received a lucrative contract several years ago that we acquired in the trade that will forever be a source of angst and argument.

No, he doesn't fit our needs and he's never really fit in but that doesn't mean we have to go out of our way to dump on him. It's actually gotten really, really, really old.

Kenny himself has said VERY LITTLE to the press in quite a while. All he's wanted to do is start, which you cannot really blame him for, can you? No, it's not what we want or need but this continued bashing of him just seems silly.

And BTW? I think I was speaking for myself. It was my post, after all.

You know, I don't like KT either and wish the Kings would hurry up and get rid of him. However, I do NOT say it in almost every single one of my posts on how much I dislike him. I think we all get the hint that you don't like KT.

I agree with VF21. It's not really Kenny's fault that he wants to play, and any distractions or problems he's caused are nothing compared to what Artest has done. I don't like KT because he's generally a terrible basketball player. Kenny is grossly overpaid and really isn't any better than Justin Williams, who doesn't have a guaranteed deal and for some reason can't get on the floor. Kenny may be a heck of a nice guy for all I know. I just don't want him sucking up minutes and cap space on my favorite team.

I'm not a fan of KT's. I never liked his game when he was with Houston. However, I agree that its not his fault that he's here. Having said all that, it wouldn't surprise me to see him play better in a more up tempo game. He looked lost last year. Almost as if he wasn't sure what his role was. Not unlike a lot of other players on the team. I blame the coach for that.

I hope he gets moved, but its unlikely. SAR, however still has trade value and his contract is not that large, even if its length is. There are several teams on which he would be a good fit.

By the way, I predict that KT, whenever he is moved, will come back and lay 50 plus on us. Everyone else does...

Looks like San Antonio is going to sign Udoka. They were interested in SAR in the past, it's a good time to try a SAR for Barry swap.

I'd do that, and the salaries work, but I'm not sure there's room for Shareef unless one of their other big guys doesn't come back.
