If this was the team made up of Vlade, Webb, Peja and Bibby, I'd say yes. But our current team, no!. We already have an immature Cousins, and several other players that are still very young. I seem to remember one of them driving at 120 miles per hour. So I don't think Smith would be a good fit.

I like JR. Still young, good scorer and jump shooter. Would be a decent option as an upgraded combo guard next to Tyreke. We don't need to trade for him though, he's a FA at the end of the season. In addition, I'd have the same concerns as Baja, he's shown to be a knucklehead thus far in his career. He is hitting the age where he might relax a bit so we'll see. I guess I'd be in favor of it if we we're to bring in 2 other veteran FAs that can help with the leadership aspect for our young core. If it were just him though I'd have to say no this team really really needs some strong veteran leadership. We may be able to add 3-4 FAs during the offseason given our capspace. If one out of three or four isn't the ideal veteran leader I'd be okay with it.

Not only is he a thug with an I.Q. roughly equal to my shoe size, but he's selfish and plays no defense to boot. In no way shape or form do we need a character like that around here. And that seems ot be the general opinion BTW, because Denver, a good team, has been trying to move his sorry butt, and thus far they don't appear to have anybody, good or bad, who wants that influence on their team.

No way. Smith is agood player, but if you team Smith, Cuz and Reke together you would have to have a fire marshall stand behind the bench with a hose. Way too volatile.

I'd rather have Donte West than JR, and that says a lot. I wouldn't touch either with a 10' pole at this point.
