Well I went to the Realgm site it shows outgoing picks to other teams and incoming picks from other teams it does not show their own picks they have available. I do not see the 2023 pick outgoing to an other team so I assume it is available to trade. The link title is each team’s “traded picks”https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed
This is a super great resource and kept up to date pretty regularly. I don't know about the other resources you listed, but RealGM has been very reliable on future draft picks.

Why is it a bad move fox for Sabonis?
Sabonis is a 20/12/5 guy gives us scoring with elite rebounding and passing at the center spot. Haliburton is an elite shooter we can run pick and rolls with both guys as well as putting the ball in saboinis hands at the top of the key with Hali doing off ball stuff. He’s not a good defender but he could be passable finding 3D guys is the easy part

Not only can Sabonis hit cutters, he has a way of prying guys open with (off-ball) screens and handoffs. He's lead the NBA in screen assists in 2 of the last 3 seasons. His off-ball partnership with Justin Holiday has been the NBA's best this year; the Pacers are generating over 1.4 points per possession on direct hookups between the two, per Second Spectrum

If Kings are getting Sabonis, they better keep Buddy and Hali or even Barnes. They would need shooters around Sabonis because the guy knows how to find open shooters, when doubled. The problem with the Pacers is they don't have like anyone who is even a top 50 in the 3pt%.

The overall problem the Kings face is that all their tradeable assets are on bad contracts. Does a playoff bound team get better by trading for a $20 million role player in Barnes? Or a $23 million 3 point specialist who hasn't shown that he can be a positive in any other way on the court in Buddy? Holmes is on a good deal, but I just don't want to trade him because I want him to be a King.
Plus none of our players save for maybe Barnes have really had a good season, so that probably hurts what the Kings are being offered in return.

I believe so. He's 25, provides elite low post scoring and connecting. Gives the Kings two connectors on offense. Ideally, Fox is the outgoing piece, leaving Mitchell with the Kings, who anchors the defense. Then Kings would need to find or develop two defensive role players--Trey Murphy on the perimeter and a shot blocking big (maybe Queta blooms). Regardless, I like that foundation more than the current log jam.

I agree. If the Kings can get a late first, Trey Murphy, Jared Butler, and/or some early seconds for Barnes, Holmes, and Buddy, I would consider that a win. If the UCLA duo is still projected to go in the seconds after the tourney, Juzang and Jacquez are going to be steals. Both have improved their games this year and would, at worse, have a career similar to Andres Nocioni.
This is why I've come around to the idea of trading Fox. Haliburton and Mitchell play well with one another, and Fox is likely the only asset other than Hali that could bring back an impact player in a trade.
I love De'Aaron and I've wanted to see the Kings win with him, but it hasn't happened and there aren't any signs that it will any time soon. Fox likely would also benefit from a change in scenery at this point. Haliburton can be the new foundational piece for a rebuild/retooling and while I don't see Mitchell as a cornerstone, he's a very solid fit.
Holmes is another great fit with Haliburton and I'd keep him unless a deal is made for Simmons or Sabonis where the roster needs change.
Hopefully you add an impact player in a deal for Fox and draft another with a lottery pick this year. Barnes, Bagley, Hield, Thompson, etc are all fodder for either the initial Fox trade or to bring back more complimentary players.
I know McNair said he wants to build around Fox and Haliburton but I don't see a path to winning with those two as your best players. I'm not even sure what type of players you surround those two with to create a successful roster. Fox needs shooters for a draw and kick game and Hali needs screeners and off ball movement to make plays for others. But both need the ball in their hands to be successful. Hali to playmake and Fox to score. If De'Aaron could play off ball that would at least open up some things, but he's been really poor in that regard and taking the ball out of his hands removes what he's really good at. They'll get better at playing off each other, but I don't see it ever being an ideal pairing.
But say Haliburton, Sabonis or Simmons, and Jabari Smith (or Banchero or Holmgren or maybe even Ivey)? That might be something.

Where Fox plays the AI role, then you surround him with defenders and shooters. The problem is Fox isn't anywhere close to where AI was as a scorer and his FT shooting needs to be in the 90%s for the team to have a winning record. So it'll be interesting to see where McNair goes. If he trades for Turner and Grant, I think Haliburton will be on his way out by next off season. Grant plays that Raja Bell/Eric Snow/Aaron McKie role while Turner plays the Dikembe/Ratliff role. If he adds Sabonis or Simmons, Fox is gone. I obviously think the cornerstone should be Hali, so we'll see.

That team's offense was 14th in the league led by Iverson's .518 TS%. Nothing to get excited about offensively. It was their defense that carried them as it was 5th in the league.

Yea, it's implied that the blueprint is to focus on defense and hope you squeeze enough offense from Fox to carry the team. The reason why you have to triple down on defense is, like AI and Westbrook, Fox just eats up so much of the offense with his style that it's really hard to fit other offensive stars next to him.
