Trade Deadline Deal

I think you go with Embiid, I think he will be a franchise center and the best player in the draft. He fits a need with a shot blocker who can defend the pick and roll. He also is gonna be a great offensive player with him and DMC we will dominate the paint for the next 15 years

He also is showing that he has a jump shot that scouts say they see in practice and he shoots 60% from ft

I think he is gonna be better than Anthony Davis in 3-4 years. He is bigger and stronger than him, davis might be better at defense than him though. What will deprecate the two is that Embiid is a low post scorer you can give it to him every play and he will make plays. Davis to me doesn't create for himself in the post too much and won't be able to dominate the low post like a Embiid.

if we somehow got the number one pick, no doubt i take embiid.

It would be a very tough decision but getting it wrong still results in having a very good player. :) It is the standard to draft BPA and I don't know who BPA is. I DO know that Embiid very well might make our interior pair of Cuz and JoJo the best in the league for a decade or so.

I also think that any trade needs to involve a PG as the rim protector can be acquired in the draft with the top 10 consisting of 3 rim protectors of pretty decent skills. Pretty decent??? Probably better. I slot them as Embiid (1-4), Cauley-Stein (6-9), and Vonleh (8-12). No matter where we end up at our present rate of play, there will be a rim protector.

for some reason he reminds me of michael olowokandi. he does look impressive against college competition but for some reason i don't think he will be as good in the pros.

Man, I saw Olowokandi play a lot, and Embiid looks nothing like him at all. Embiid is ten times the defensive player that Olowokandi was, not to mention, that the competition level at UOP is nothing like the level at Kansas. About the only comparison is that they both came from the continent of Africa, and both came to the game of basketball late. Well you know what, so did Olajuwon. You could have compared him to Olajuwon, as many scouts have, but instead you picked a failure. I guess we see what were looking for.
