Replying to my own post, oh well. In the last 3 drafts that the Lakers have been in the lottery I don't believe once have they been bumped back. Currently they have the 3rd worst record, anybody willing to bet they will fall out of the top 3 and lose their pick.

30 points a night was removed with that trade on Sunday. Ben and the Philly 2nd would be a sweet deal for Okafor.

Why would Philly do that? They have so many picks already and I really doubt they want to basically trade Okafor for McLemore. I could see maybe Collison, McLemore and the 2nd.

That would be OK. I never thought much of Okafor but his offensive game paired with WCS's defensive game could be a nice combo.

Now with Hield, NO's pick and a better chance of keeping our own pick, we would be young but could look reputable next season.

I'd take Okafor. Still young, still potential. May not have near the skills of Cuz, but does have some offense. Ben+Collison+Philly's 2nd, I'd pull the trigger. I'd be a better GM than Vlade at that point

Good point, Philly has no reason to help the Kings since they own the pick swap.

Scoring wise, I didn't think he was too bad last year.

The rebounding on this team would reach unspeakably low levels with him, WCS and Tolliver manning the paint.

The statement was meant to show that the 76ers aren't going to trade him for McLemore and a 2nd rounder. I was trying to put ourselves in their shoes and ask if we would trade Okafor for that package. I'm sure the answer would be no.

You'd need a rebounding defensive beast of a stretch 4 next to him if you wanted to be successful. Not sure many of those exist.
