I thought Webber played great in the playoffs last year, and the year before he played well until he was injured. Although they were stuggling before, the TWolves won 4 of their last five, so they have not been horrible.

This was a great win against a good team, and we are missing so many pieces right now it isn't even funny. Maybe I'm just naive, but I think if we're all healthy and playing well come playoffs we'll be a hard team to beat.

sure there have been some disapointments the last four years or so, but to be fair the team has always had a key injury. i think if we have everyone healthy come playoff time we'll be all right. you have to have more faith. i think at full strength the kings can beat anyone in a 7 game series!!

Psst...it was really only Webber (Peja was severely hobbled), and we took them to 7.

Webber actually crossed his playoff bridge years ago and has played up to his caabilities there since 01-02 at least -- and this year with all of the clutch play and leadership there is actually hope he might be ready to take that next step to become that stud who steps up and dominates in the postseason. We'll see.

Peja is reaching that same point in his career where Webb began to become a playoff performer, and he just has to find a way to take that step himself. If he can do no more than just be himself, not a god, just his normal self except with a little more hustle and boardwork, we can be really dangerous.

Uhh, do you even know what your talking about. With Chris, Peja, Bobby & Mo back we will kill the wolves in a 7 game series. The only team Sac has to worry about is the Spurs. And on that note if the Spurs (especially Manu Ginobili) didnt play so dirty we would have a better chance. Pulling on peoples jerseys & reaching in 24/7 shouldnt be considered "good defense".

Haven't checked any of the sport sites yet, but my gut tells me Sacramento media will be talking about winning this game 1) without Peja and Web and 2) with the bench Adelman seems reluctant to use.

you make a good point about getting excited about the regular season and then getting a big dissapointment during the playoffs.I know myself at times get a rush after some good games and I think the kings squad does to.But I think lately the fans that post here have been modest about the Good wins and have taken the success in stride.I even hear the players speak about learning from the past and using previous season playoff woes as motivating factors for this years playoff run.I think the TEAM and FANS realize what is at stake and this I believe has to do with failure. you will eventually learn from your mistakes once you get tired of Bumping your head so much and I think that this is real apparent amongst the players and kings fans collectively.Everyone realizes that regual season glory means ziltch.

But on the other tip about the kings being able to beat the wolves in 7 games.In my opinion with the addition of cuttino mobely.We have a player that nullify's sam cassells and latrell sprewells dominance over the kings in the backcourt.He can handle spree and sam at the same time.What is crazy is that you can put him on either one and defensively he has vibration over either.I notice sprewell isn't as agressive with cuttino as he was with doug and this has nothing to do with this one game,when I watched the rockets and wolves last season cuttino presented those same problems against those dudes.Then when he defends Sam he doesn't allow sam to trip him or hug him or put his body all over him,|What cuttino does is he does what sam doeas back at him.Cuttino hugs and slides up on Sam like a cat in the way he plays him.The big problem we had last year and just early this season was with cassell and sprewell and with doug the kings depended on dougs defense too much and this became a crutch.So now you see Bibby making an effort to play defense blocking shots and jumping out in those passing lanes making plays.This also has effected the whole teams hustle play and you see the young guy's stepping up and using there athletcism to help out get loose balls deflecting passes etc to make up for the loss of doug.What cuttino does better against the wolves is he doesn't gamble as much which cassell wants yoo to do.

Cassell loves a defender that gambles this give him room to play his trick magic card game of peek ka boo.He loved when doug would gamble at the Basketball because he felt that his hat tricks would sooner or later deal the blow to doug.Doug was successful at times but cassell knew as the game wore on those gambles would become costly.This is why you see doug shut cassell down in the first half and then come second half cassell would go for 20 lighting everyone up.Sometimes the gambles pay and sometimes you crap out.What cuttino does different is what was said earlier is that he plays the game of tricks and cassell doesn't want to play that game with cuttino because cuttino will be the one to deal the blow cuttino has the smae magic bag that cassell does.

The kings have a bench and sometimes when a player goes down iyt can be a blessing in disguise.and you see the king have at least 5 pretty good role players that can contribute in alot of different ways.Matt barnes is another individual who his play offset trenton hassells role play.Matt was and will be an x factor in nullifying Trenton hassells role play dominance.

But to sum this up the kings I feel have reversed the spell the t-wolves had on them.I don't think the wolves will be a problem for the kings.But the spurs all the junk will be thrown out the window and that series if it does happen will not be a series of who is better on paper or who won the regular season series or even who has TIM DUNCAN.That series will be won and lossed by will and will power alone.
