Time to praise Artest!

It's funny how your definition of "bashing" varies depending on the player involved.

P.S. You also forgot to mention Ron is playing with 4 amputated toes

Au contraire. My defintion of bashing has never changed. I didn't remove many MUCH WORSE comments made about Webber because, although they may have been personally objectionable to me, they didn't cross the line into actual bashing.

This doesn't either.

You, on the other hand, only object when Predrag is involved. He's not immune to criticism or comments.

Peja does NOT play tough. Peja has had numerous times this season, in particular, where a myriad of injuries have caused him to lose playing time. Some of those injuries were questioned when he was in Sacramento and this current one is being widely questioned now that he's in Indiana. That's not my fault.

The comments about Chris Webber were not about his wanting to play. In fact, if anything, they were the opposite. Webber was criticized for wanting to come back too soon and trying too hard.

Face it. Peja is soft. He cannot tolerate pain, he cannot play through an injury, he cannot "suck it up and play." And I'm talking about Peja today - not anything that happened 10 years ago.

Making fun of injuries on Kings board = playing with fire.

This is Kings - remember.

I just hope that tonight at some point - we don't have to dig out this thread at point at it.

Agreed but talking about it when it's not even called for will not change that about him.

Mike can't play defense if his life depended on it but is that a reason to bring it all the time?

Ron can go crazy any second...should we mention that in every thread?

Miller is a worse rebounder then Peja...let's talk about that 80% of the time...

Catch my drift?

Well that's only because Ron might actually do it. :D

Did think that missed the mark as humor on Barry's part though. Think he would have done better going wiht the pop culture semi-comical "break his kneecaps".

All that would do is send the authorities over to his house in search of hidden communications between Brent and Tonya Harding.

Several people do.

Oh, buddy, we cover that subject about 90% of the time.

I've never seen any one player get "bashed" more than any other around here.

Except, perhaps, Erick Daniels.

Poor, poor Erick Daniels.

Of course talking about it won't change him. NOTHING we talk about on this board actually changes anything about the players, nor does it impact the games we spend hours discussing and analyzing. This is a message board, we discuss the players.

And if you really think we don't talk about Miller's rebounding, Ron's history (see many, many, references about making sure Ron "takes his pills") or Mike's defense, you obviously haven't been spending enough time on the board.;) Those subjects have been discussed just as much as, say, Adelman's rotations, KT's attitude, SAR's lack of rebounding, etc., etc.

At this point, why not get back to the topic at hand? The person who made the "bashing" accusations is long gone...having successfully hijacked the thread.

Let's take this thread back!!!!

Ron Artest is doing everything we need him to do...and he's doing it despite a spate of injuries. I, for one, agree he deserves our praise.

AMEN! Artest is showing what he's made of, and frankly, I'm impressed! VERY impressed, with his game, with his attitude, with his leadership, just plain old impressed!

At one point last game we were up 20 or something in the final few minutes, Artest was on the bench and he was still coaching the other players, frantically telling them to hustle. That's leadership. Artest wants to win, and from tipoff to the final buzzer you get 100% effort. That's commendable, and it's just what the Kings needed.
