[Game] Timberwolves @ Kings - 10/29/16 - 7:30 PM PDT

Perhaps, with Karl gone, he took it for granted that he was going to have a bigger role, and now he's sulking... Whatever his deal is, I'll give him some more rope, and trust that Joerger can get him back on the right track.
I'm all for it because there is a lot of talent there and he can certainly help us. He would be a much more dynamic option on offense than KK for example, if he can get it together and make it to the starting lineup. I do think if a "right" deal came along, he would be sent off.

Big win for the team. The Atlanta/Miami duo is always murder because (honestly) the clubs and women in the clubs.

Cousins took KAT out of the game on defense and then dominated whoever they threw at him on offense. However, he can't have those reactions he had. Going up into the stands could be a suspension. You could cost your team a game when you have a game to win right at that moment. It's like he has no faith that good things will happen.

Rudy playing defense in the third made a big difference. Barnes is going to get a lot of credit, but for three years Wiggins has burned Rudy in these games and Rudy finally took it to the kid in the third.

The Kings trailed by as many as 18 pts vs the Timberwolves. They had lost 112 straight when trailing by at least 18 at any point. W tonight

And let that be a lesson to you all: nobody beats Vitas Gerulaitis the Sacramento Kings 17 113 times in a row!

Holy crap. I'm home now and soooo satisfied

Can't say much else right now, as my heart nearly stopped a few times. Some things never change ..

Ben sheepishly talking about believing in himself and his teammates giving him confidence.

Send this kid to a sports therapist. If he absolutely believed in himself it would make such a world of difference, IMO.

Too early to not discount it as fool's gold but right now this doesn't feel like the same old Kings.

Loved Joerger subbing out the whole starting five early. Make your point coach.

I was kind of doom and gloom in that first half, but they proved me wrong big time. Guess I've just been used to the last 10 years of Kings sucky basketball. There's still some things we need to tighten up, and it's concerning we don't seem to have anyone besides Cuz/Gay that can consistently score, but this team definitely has a mentality we haven't seen since Adelman and a brief time under Malone.

Timberwolves should have played Shabazz more, they would be able to dictate the pace with his exceptional ability to post up and seal his defender, he was absolutely having his way

Man, it was driving me crazy how the loose balls kept falling into the T-Wolves hands the last few minutes of that game. Most of them not earned by hustle, but by luck. The Kings would poke the ball away on defense but it'd go right to a Minnesota player. The possession where Boogie fouled out being a prime example. Barnes and Rudy poked the ball away from Wiggins, but it goes right to Dunn -- who then barely catches Cuz out of position.

How did they let us get away with Barnes on KAT? Holy crap did he look average out there again, btw
Its not that he looked average its that he was going up against a better stronger version of himself, and you know Cuz being the big alpha dog that he is is going to relish any chance to go at challengers to his throne. Against other frontlines KAT can look Cousins like, so far Cousins has put the clamps down on Lamarcus and KAT.

I think WCS may be on the trade block unofficially. He just has no fire to him. It's really odd it's like he just goes through the motions. Also, his offense is awful he has no touch whatsoever.

Ya we should package him sooner than later maybe him and Ben for Marcus smart.

Speaking of, as I am listening to the Phoenix Suns broadcast crew, Eddie Johnson brings up that fact that Marquise Chriss had to go to a Sports Therapist for fouling out three straight games while he was attending Washington. Whether it helped him or not, I don't know...but I just thought it could be a helpful tactic.

Just want to send a big fat EL OH EL to everyone crying about trading Gay in this thread. Yeah we need to ship his 22ppg 2bpg ass out of here and get a real 2nd scorer! I really just don't understand some of you. Its like all you do is concentrate on his two or three bad shots a game and then conveniently forget about his overall efficient game, solid defense and clutch play in the 4th. The guy has been fantastic this year and we won't be sniffing the playoffs if we trade him. He is by far our second best player.

Oh come on. You've been around here long enough to know how it works. There always has to be a small but vocal contingency that wants to ship out a certain player. ;)
