Measured 6'8 and 3/4 with shoes. His height is not ideal but i think its good enough. I think he has officially become the player the kings need to draft. I know hes not the big time shot blocker some people want next to cousins but i think he does fit ok. Both can go to the block and both can provide floor spacing for Tyreke evans to drive. He is also an elite athlete with a 7'3 wingspan so that should help make up for him being slightly undersized.

It's definitely good enough. And that 1/4" might help him drop to the Kings if the GMs give an absurd amount of weight in their evaluation to height. The thing about Robinson is that he can get a lot of rebounds outside of his immediate area on the floor because of his quickness. So, if Cousins mops up most of the rebs near the basket and Robinson gets the rebs outside that interior perimeter, there's not much that's left. Throw in Thompson, Reke, and even IT who has the quickness to get the loose balls on the perimeter and this team could really be an excellent rebounding team. Just give me a three that is an above average rebounder and you have a fantastic rebounding team imo.

On offense, as you say, he can provide spacing on the floor. His jump shot isn't bad, looks to be pretty good form, and should continue to get better. On defense I think he's going to be very good once he goes through the first frosh and sophomore learning curve years in the NBA.

I don't think he's the player we "have to draft" but at this point I think he's our most likely pick. Like most here I'm hoping for MKG or Drummond at this point... but I think they'll be gone along with Davis and Beal leaving us to pick between Robinson, Barnes, and the rest. Long way to go though so we'll see.

I'm recording the combine, but when I turned it on, Chad Ford said the Robinson measured out at 6'9". Of course no official measurements have been released and probably won't for a couple of days. I was wondering where you go your measurements? Not disputing them, just curious.

He also mentioned that Festus Ezeli measured out at 6'11.5" w/out shoes, and with a 7'5" wingspan. My biggest knock on Ezeli is his hands. I'm curious to see his hand measurements.

Check the other combine thread. There is a picture of a document on there.

Ezeli has only 8'10" in reach so his head and shoulders must be a couple inche longer(wider) than most players. :)

Appears likely MKG or Robinson will be available @5. If not, Henson is a nice consolation. But man, Kings better take a good long look at Drummond.

Has a link to the spreadsheet. Baja needs to stop sleeping in on the beach.

Actually, wednsday evening around 7:30 PM, I had a friend that was in severe pain in his stomach area, and I had to rush him to the hospital in San Diego, actually La Jolla. I didn't get him there until 11:30 with the border crossing and all, and I didn't get to bed until much later. He was operated on at 10 am yesterday morning, and I spent all day yesterday trying to get info on him etc. So I just got back home, went on line, and responded to the first post I saw.

I have since been to Draftexpress and looked at the measurements that were posted.

i missed the second half of the combine today (the euro 2012 soccer was on) did anyone stand out or fail to deliver???

According to the pundits there, Meyers Leonard is impressing everyone, and could rise in the draft. Personally, I'd take Leonard over Zeller or Henson. I think he'll be a better player down the road.

sounds like an appendix rupture ! Should have called 911 soon as you crossed the border. Hope he's OK.

He came out ok -- as I mentioned when that pic from a few days ago showed up best case for Robinson was that Drummond had grown and was even bigger than thoguht. That was the case. So Robinson at 6'7.75 sans shoes and 244lbs is just a shade under 6'9" by NBA standards. That's about Haslem sized.

how did doron lamb do... i really dislike him for no real reason?? i was shocked when he said he thought he whould be going in the top 5

also i saw drummond who looked impressive but missed MKG (what happend with him somthing about him missing his time??) and T-Rob :(

T Robinson is the same height as Jeff Green, Jamison, Carl Landry, Haslem, David Lee, and Kevin Love. It's about average for a PF. But the good post defenders are typically 6'-10 or above (in shoes) with long arms (which TRob has) athleticism (also has) and the girth (doesn't have) to stand their ground. How much can that wingspan and athleticism make up for the height and girth?

Drummond is 1/4" taller than Demarcus Cousins, a 7'6" wingspan, on a 280 pound body. Combine with his speed and athleticism he is now officially in the same company as Dwight Howard (physically, not basketball wise of course).

He and a few other SF's worked out with the PF's because of a miscommunication or mismanagement. Nothing that effects/affects the players.

oh ok cheers

i just wasnt sure what happend i was coming back in the room at that point and only heard the end of the story... bit strange though you whould think somthing as importent as this whould be sorted out by the NBA

Ain't that the truth. What was funny was during the broadcast they continually said, "The GM's are watching the 3-3 drills, but we are bringing you the measure-ables". I just kept thinking, show us the stuff that the GM's want to see and release the measure-ables online. If it isn't important enough for the GM's to make a point to watch, then show us what they want to see.

they should have the unofficial times like the NFL has... and tbh i didnt really learn much from 6 hours of combine because the players we are looking at for #5 didnt turn up for most of it but roll on the draft

Interesting, Draftexpress who keeps records of these kind of things, says the T. Robinson measures out just slightly taller than the average PF in their data base. T. Rob has a couple of other things going for him. His athleticism and his non stop motor. Those two things, especially his motor, are more important than a half inch in height. Plus his standing reach is good. I wouldn't be disappointed with him.

Doron Lamb is going to surprise some people. He's an excellent shooter, and a good defender, which he doesn't get enough credit for. He was overshadowed by Davis and Gilchrist this year. But he hit clutch shots when needed, played the Point when Teague was out of the game, and may times, defended the other teams PG. He plays with a very passive expression in his face, seldom showing emotion, and I think some people have a hard time getting excited about him because of it. But he's a very good player. And personally, I like his confidence.

Kinda' scary that he'll probably be picked mid to late first round, which means he'll end up on a playoff caliber team. A nice complimentary player. I like Lamb's game - about twice as much as Teague's.

100% agreed.
