Hate to disagree, but gotta. He sounds as if he is talking to young children, and it's very annoying. I don't know of anyone in radio who has a comforting voice. I do like Paul Harvey's voice though, and I love his "the rest of the story" segments, so interesting!
 
A drug representative brought lunch for the doctor and staff in the office where I work today. It was the worst smelling thai food ever! I've had thai food before but it certainly wasn't that gross. Nobody ate any of it but we told the rep it was delicious and then we threw all the food away. She spent 140 dollars on all the food. It wasn't out of her pocket but it was out of pfizer's pocket. Anyway, we offered the food to some patients later but they all said no (because of the smell most likely). So at the end of the day I threw away a hefty bag of food. I feel awful because I wasted so much food. But the rep should have called and asked us what we wanted before she brought lunch like we told her when she scheduled it. And to top it off, the doctor is a vegetarian, no meant, no mushrooms, or eggs, and all the dishes she brought had some kind of dead animal in it. Anyway, I just had to vent....and I steel feel awful for wasting all that food.
 
why would the drug rep take sucha huge chance on Thai food...why not something that you know most people like

IMO that was risk she shouldn't of taken....its a lot of food to waste...but i wouldn't feel that bad...hehe

besides like you said Pfizer bought it....they have plenty of money...lol....a friend of mine's father works at Pfizer...ive heard a lot of stories....
 
Update on the creature in the vents:

The thing that is living in my vents is either a) dead b) making itself quite a home or c) both a and b. How do I know this you ask? Yesterday I came home, walked through the front door and almost passed out. I have smelt only fewer more disgusting things in my life. Mind you, the house had been closed up all day (from morning to late evening) so the smell had time to "situate" all in the house. I couldn't even stay inside and lord knows I wouldn't go under the house and see whats there ( my house is built about 5 feet off the ground due to the area and the possibility of flooding)...so, I open every window and door in the house, waited for cousin to get home, lit about 50 scented candles (ok, more like 5) and left.
 
looks like its gonna be an early night tonight for me...well if you want to call 11:30 early (its early for me)...im just so so so so bored...and if there isn't anything to do might as well just go to bed
 
::refuses to go to bed though she's tired:: Whenever I have school, i'm always up late the night b4 and when I DON'T have school, that's when I get all tired and wanna go to bed early. I just don't understand it and I refuse to go to bed now ::sits::
 
Update on the creature in the vents:

The noise and smell are gone! I don't know what happened, if it left, if it finished decomposing (:eek: )or whatever. But still, someone is supposed to check it out this weekend.
 
this snow is REALLY starting to get a little ridiculous now

i just woke up and it took me prolly about 5 mins to realize its snowing out AGAIN...only this time i heard nothing about this snow that we are getting right now

enough is enough...its nearly mid march...an although winter is technicially not over...THATS ENOUGH SNOW...it snows like every other day here...gosh! It really bothers me to hear people talk about how its perfect weather where they live to start plundering in their gardens or its so nice out they can have a outdoor barbeque cookout...meanwhile im still bundled up stuck in the house...

ENOUGH WITH THE SNOW SHANNAGINS!! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE IT STOP!
 
^^ LOL i know how that is. Like 3 days ago it went up to about 60 degrees and the next day it was FREEEZING..it was like 20 degrees but felt like 5. And there was all this talk about how we were getting snow today and everyone's sittin around waiting for it to come and it flurried for like 10 seconds and that was all..and it's not even cold out. This weather is playin games. I just can't wait for the nice weather
 
well the snow here has finally stopped....luckily it wasn't heavy snow on the roads...so right now its like slush

but i know what you mean ID...the other day it was like Monday or maybe Tuesday...it was beautiful and then the next day its windy as all hell....and like the coldest day of the year...::shakes head::...i hate the northeast
 
So get this my dad comes home from work and says on his way home he gets stopped by a cop...and the cop says his customary "do you know why i pulled you over" and my dad says "umm because i was doing 75 in a 65" and the cop says "its actually a 55 and the reason i pulled you over is because you have a tail-lught out"

what an idiot!

now if me or my sister or even my mom got stopped and we ended up saying what he said we would NEVER hear the end of it from him

luckily the cop gave him a warning about the light and that was it

just goes to show you whenever you get stopped by the PO-PO you are supposed to say "no sir i don't know why you pulled me over"

So if I mentioned that it was 80 degrees here in Sac yesterday, Would that drive you crazy?(Sorry,I couldn't resist):p ;)

Got an idea. Paint your windows to look like the Carribean and turn up the Thermostat. Im sure that might help.(Hey I did that once.... But I was grounded for a week so maybe not a good idea:p )

Im sure it will be plenty warm there soon. A friend of mine in NY said that theres a nice warming trend coming soon. Be patient.
 
If you think alot of snow is bad. How would you like to live in Greenland after an Ice Storm?

I would love to be able to know what 80 degrees in March feels like. Normally 80 degree days don't come until May or late April maybe.
 
^psssh 80 degrees doesn't come in New England until seriously late June into July for sure

i can't stand New Englands distinct 4 seasons...some love it..i hate it
 
^ I don't even get four seasons. I get two; winter and summer. It's freazing and then all of a sudden its friggin' hot as hell. And then everyone gets sick. And I used to live in San Diego so I really hate this place!
 
This is when I was getting a autograph from Cuttino MObley. Good story. MUST READ!

Ok, so I was getting a autograph, and the first 300 peope get a ticket to show hat they will get an autograph. In the ticket it ssay: NO POSED PHOTOGRAPHS. When I was getting athe autograph, my mom was getting a pic of me with Cuttino, and he was posing. My moms camera didnt work for about 15 seconds and then the secruity guard said move! "But then, Cuttino said no it is ok. Take your time. "

Cuttino was rwally nice and went home with a pic with him, pics of his car, and a couple of autographs from him. What a day!!!
