The Wrestling Thread~

So, since Jey Uso essentially ended up becoming the Rick Rude to Gunther's Ultimate Warrior, should Bron become Jey's Rude?

Travis Scott ruined that match. Also Cena isn’t in wrestling shape and that kinda forced the match into the weird (and really short) form it was.
At least the Flairs took a big fat L this entire weekend.

If both days traded main events, you have one of the best days of Wrestlemania on your hands and quite possibly the worst four hour slog of slop you’d ever seen.

If my memory is accurate, there have been six champions in the WrestleMania era to win a championship at a WrestleMania, hold the title for an entire year, and then successfully defend their championship at the following WrestleMania:

Demolition, WrestleMania 4 (WWF Tag Team Championship)
Brock Lesnar, WrestleMania 33 (WWE Universal Championship)
Becky Lynch, WrestleMania 35 (Raw Women's Championship)
Roman Reigns, WrestleMania 38 (WWE Universal Championship)
Bianca Belair, WrestleMania 38 (Raw Women's Championship)
Rhea Ripley, WrestleMania 39 (SmackDown Women's Championship/Women's World Championship)

Cody Rhodes joins Randy Savage (WrestleMania 4) and Hulk Hogan (WrestleMania 5) as the only champions TTBOMR to win a championship at Mania, hold it for an entire year, and then fail to defend their championship at the following Mania.

So, depending on how you define such things, wrestlers with special entrances either went 0-for-5 or 1-for-6 at Mania this weekend.
I thought Drew was going to do the job and I was thinking how sad for him he has to do an advertisement for a videogame as his entrance and Damian is getting Slayer, except Damian only got Kerry King (who was awful) and Drew murdered him in the finish.
