Tough. I think he needs a break for two or three months. Apparently he thinks so too, but he's proving something to someone.
He had surgery yesterday I think… Super Cena and his regenerative powers returned after four months, maybe a little sooner from the same injury. Wouldn’t be shocked if Cody hit sooner to Cena’s time than 6/7 months.

Cody Rhodes is a freakin’ madman.

They better strap this man up the SECOND he returns.
Yeah right. He'll be back just in time for them to start ramping up to that Roman/Rock match that they've been teasing for three years. That belt ain't goin' nowhere.
But...SLAB's post made no mention of what the "strap" is...Maybe SLAB was talking about, perhaps, the 24/7 championship???? :p:p:p...

In all seriousness, though, I agree with S£im...No one's touching the big belt for a while.

Makes most sense to just have him come back at Rumble. He might be able to make it back for Survivor Series but that wouldn't have anywhere near the impact of a surprise Rumble entrance and a win.

oh, I mean we've all seen that story before I guess, but still.

Hopefully MITB splits the titles again. Roman having a death strangle on the entire main event is freakin’ dire.

I was under the impression they were going to consolidate across the board. As someone who only watches the premium events and NXT I don't mind but they most certainly have too many hours of weekly programming to do that for long stretches.

That said, there was a time when Brock was champ that it was almost like there was no title to compete for except 4 times a year and it felt like a foregone conclusion the guy wasn't going to dethrone Brock and dare I say that was one of the more watchable weekly periods in the modern era?

As recently as 3 days ago there were tons of gossip in the wrasslin youtubes about how Steph sucked so hard she got fired/forced leave this was Nick Khan's big takeover yadda yadda and now she's interim president/ceo. so that's the fun part in all this.

Sonya Deville being booked as a heel in a two-on-one handicap match versus Raquel Rodriguez and Lacey Evans (in June, no less) seems depressingly on-brand for WWE.

Anyone want to make the trek out to the desert this weekend to watch Money in the Bank with me? I may be getting two tickets, but may not be able to find someone to go with me.

Any brave soul want to take me up on my offer????

:D:D:D

That has to be one of the worst segments that the WWE has EVER come up with. Something tells me that there is some evil spirit within who wants the WWE to fail hard. Perhaps, this evil spirit has some ties to AEW???
This is the kind of stupid I love in my wrestling. McAfee’s commentary was great, and I think Mace has one of the the best looks in all of wrestling and can be a breakout star.

Sure, this comedy gimmick probably isn’t that but at least he’s on TV now!

I mean, I don't see it, either. Comma, but... it is kinda ****ed up how we kill WWE for not creating new stars, and then they try, and then we're like, "Oh, we didn't mean you."
I don’t even dislike Theory … he’s just not there in this current form. He’s a good character away from it though, and he’s showed he can do solid character work as the idiot son of The Way.

Selfie taking cocky dude ain’t it though.

…. Theory?! Really?!

The second Adam Pearce announced Theory as the 8th participant in the match, I immediately knew that he was going to win the match. And I suspect that most, if not all, of the other fans who were also in attendance last night knew that he was going to win the match. The match, for the most part, did NOT go over well with the live crowd. The beginning most certainly did not. And the end of the match DEFINITELY did not go over well with the live crowd. We all hated it.

Street Profits vs Usos was a FUN match all around. Crowd was into it pretty much from the opening bell. I was pulling super hard for the Street Profits to end up on top, knowing full well that the Usos were going to be walking out of Las Vegas as the champs.

What I did NOT know full well, however, was the fact that not only would Liv Morgan end up winning what was hands down my favorite match of the entire night, but she would then go on to cash in her opportunity and become Smackdown Women's Champion!!! That was a great moment to have been a part of, and the crowd was definitely super stoked to not only see Liv win the ladder match, but to also go on and cash in her opportunity and become champion. Liv definitely was the one who I was most wanting to see win the ladder match, but I fully expected to see someone else come out on top (Becky Lynch being the obvious choice, but I also thought that they may have given it to someone like Alexa, or maybe Raquel Rodriguez just to be able to give her a nice little push). So when she won, the WWE fan in me marked out, and was super stoked.

Overall, a fun PPV to watch, and I am glad that I was able to get a ticket so I could watch it in person.

PS: Holy H-E-Double Hockey sticks is the pyro LOUD!!! Not even my earplugs could save me from slightly jumping at various points in the evening. The most unexpected one coming during Riddle's entrance, when he jumped over the ropes and into the ring.
