On paper, there is no possibility that Wrestlemania is any good; when the best match on the card is between two guys in their mid-to-late forties, you know you're in for a night of ****ty overbooked "sports entertainment."

Oh yeah... Go Cena!

A lot of negatives in my very first WM purchase, but the main event changed all my opinions.

HHH, Cena, and Mysterio all won.
(Shaemus, Batista, and Punk all lost to the counterparts)

Bret/Vince was a just bad.

MITB was okay. Glad to see Swagger win, but a pretty mellow match.

Jericho won which was nice.

There was a sour taste in spending 60$ to see most everyone I dislike win.

But the Taker and HBK, of course, stole the show. I didn't see last years match, but this was awesome. The one thing that lacked was JR...I so thought he was gonna come down and announce the last match, seeing how important it was...Oh well, these guys stole the show... A wrestling retirement never means anything...
But in kayfabe.

Thank you HBK. I only saw you from when you returned at SummerSlam 02, but from what I heard I didnt expected much from that comeback, let alone 8 great years.

I haven't seen Wrestlemania yet... Is it worth watching?
Shawn Micheals/Undertaker answers your question.
That match alone sells the show, IMO.

In addition, I think it's pretty cool to watch a wrestling event in a giant arena, with 72000 people, and a massive set.
It's a freakin' spectacle.

(This was my first ever PPV (let alone WrestleMania) watched, so I may be a bit skewed.)

SHIMMER will be taping Vol. 29-32 of their DVD series this weekend in Berwyn, IL. Anybody in the area that might be interested in seeing how good women's wrestling is capable of being should check it out!

I wish I could spring for it, myself: I have a feeling that we could be looking at a title change this weekend!

I could care less about Cena, as I don't expect him to ever lose so his eventual loss will be a surprise.

But Rey Mysterio...That guy has vaulted to the very front of my most disliked wrestler list...When does he EVER lose a match with something on the line? When does he EVER lose a feud?!

Lame PPV tonight.

The ending to RAW has to be the most memorable show-closing moment since Big Show/Lesnar collapsed the ring with the superplex.

I can't wait for this to play out, and I really hope WWE doesn't screw this up.

It's being reported by multiple sources that Gertrude "Luna" Vachon has been found dead at her mother's house. She was forty-eight.

EDIT - Confirmed by WWE.

I posted on my Facebook and Twitter that I wanted Alberto Del Rio to win and it made sense since it was his "destiny."

WWE has been pushing his character to the moon with his ring entrances (different expensive car and his own ring announcer) and having him on both RAW and Smackdown. Once Edge won, I knew ADR would win too.

If ADR wins the title at WM, what do you do with his character? The title chase will be over and he has so many years ahead of him so I hope his character doesn't get boring.

Just in case you have RAW on DVR and want a surprise, don't look.

The ROCK came back to RAW and proceeded to absolutely tear John Cena a new one!!! Look for it on Youtube tomorrow. My words won't do it any justice at all. It was epic beyond epic. And I marked like a kid when his music hit.

WrestleMania tonight!

I have..

-The Corre..Who cares.

-Shaemus..should be pretty good if given time.

-Team snookie.. Ugh. The celeb/face team must win!

-Rey Mysterio..because he doesn't lose.

-CM Punk..Randall needs to lose after being so dominant the better part of this whole feud. This isn't over between them.

-Alberto Del Rio..I think Christian turns on Edge to setup a long feud for those two.

-King destroys Cole..Cole then either A: Has a 'broken jaw' that needs to be wired shut or B: is revealed as the RAW GM. Either scenario takes him out of the announce team and makes him an actual non-announcing heel character.

-Miz over Cena. The Rock takes revenge for the AA on Raw. Not the main event.

-Undertaker goes 19-0. Beats HHH, Shawn Micheals does something, but im not sure what. Crowd goes home happy after both major Titles go to/with the heels.
