The reason Denver traded Patterson is to aquire Bonzi. ???

I am thinking now that we may be still doing a sign and trade with Denver because why else would they trade Patterson for another PF (Joe Smith). Are the kings looking to get one of there other PF's?

What do you guys think? Is it a sign of things to come?

Who knows about Bonzi, but that was a suspicious move by the Nuggets. figure they are thinking they are moving one of their bigs somehow, but whether its to us, no way to know.

Note however that Patterson is a college friend/acquaintance of KMart, and so I guess there is always just the possibility they were trying to break that up.

The letters "C" "A" "M" "B" "Y" haunted me in my dreams last night. Hopefully my divine powers of psychic ESPN will come through for us. /Mean Girls reference

Denver just has too many bigs on their roster and the thought that they are just there for insurance is BS. Camby, Nene, Kmart, Smith, and a lot of others are just too much too have on their roster. They need a shooter anyways. I would be happy with either Camby or Kmart(camby is older, but Kmart has knee problems). We need a big (more than 1 actually), Denver wants wants Bonzi and has more than plenty of bigs to spare.

Each equipped with a gigantic contract and significant injury history unfortunately.

I liked the injury prone big man we traded for all the moveable pieces. Fact is we can't get that superstar big man and will not be able to because we can't move the moveable pieces. Lets just do what we can with rookies and free agents until wart on our *** that is Kenny Thomas is somehow split up for a couple 2045 2nd round picks or something.

what does having the early bird right to bonzi mean to us?
Unfortunatly... nothing. Bird rights allow a team to go over the cap for a single contract. Any team that picks him up now will not get them.

This is one of those situations like when your exhas yet to find a new spouse. You can grab a little hope bu folks need to face the reality that Bonzi is gone and the Kings will get nothing... dust in the wind.

I'd actually prefer salmons....martin or flaco could have played the 2, but now (it appears as) we finally have a legit backup pg.

Amen to that.

LOL - I think I am a lot sadder about Bonzi than I ever was over the ex.
