I wish I had done more research on this draft.. but from the very little I've seen of Vonleh, I'd be hesitant to take him

I wonder if there is any way we could score a 10-13 pick WITHOUT giving up our 8th pick? So we could grab Randle/Gordon/Vonleh at 8, and then Payton a few picks later.

one can dream

I don't want McDermott but there sure are a lot of NBA minds (not just writers) who are swearing by his ability and potential on offense. And someone mentioned he reminds of Sczerbiak....I can see that. He and Smart were the only 2 college guys to workout with team USA and they both more than held their own.

Problem is McD is not a stretch 4..... If he was then maybe we take that guy, but we need other starting spots filled first

Man, watching the opening of the draft preview show on espn, the clip on the Embiid/Akeem comparison.... I'd take Embiid with the first pick of the draft and wouldn't blink

Vonleh is on the slide according to woj. I hope they stay true to their board and don't have their head turned by a slider. A la t rob.

Embid could be the next Hakeem. Or the next Oden. It won't be an easy job for the GMs who will have to decide tonight.

When the man is one of the all-time best to ever play the game, you need to get his name right. It's HAKEEM. :)

I want Smart, Payton, Gordon or Vonleh. In that order.

...So we'll probably trade the pick for some MLE talent or pick up McDermott. :p
