Yeah that really annoyed me. They did it to a Sox homerun against Cleveland a few years back too. Sometimes they'd rather make the story than tell the one that happens. The first replay is a tough call, but the angle on the second replay shows that the ball CLEARLY hits the rim. But ESPN goes back to running inconclusive replays and the announcers basically come up with the party line that the refs blew the call. Seriously, guys? That's terrible, suspiciously biased broadcasting. I'm cheesed, and I'm not even a Celtics fan outside of this series.
lol! This just brings a smile to my face.
And 26 FT's to 13 (9 really, if you take away the intentionals on Ray Allen and Garnett at the end).
I feel like C's need to close it out next game. Can they beat the Lakers 3 in a row though?
LA just seems too much of a giant for the Celtics
Garnett cannot contain Gasol anymore and is an offensive liability now, artest will contain pierce, Rondo wont be effective..
Lakers in 4 unfortunately...hope im wrong
I'm pretty sure I know what im watching I've watched basketball and played for virtually my whole life and have a pretty good understanding of the game..
Artest will give Pierce fits, Garnett is not a second or third offensive option anymore, Bynum will take Perkins help defense...
Can't see the Celtics winning more than 2 games

Can't see the Celtics winning more than 2 games...
I owned him in that debate haha
I can't stand Big Baby...and I mean, I can't stand him. However, I can't stand the Lakers even more.I swear Big Baby reminds me of John Henry. Anyone else get that?
People always talk about bynum and what he can do on the offensive end when healthy. But even when he has offensive break out games it usually never makes an impact on the game. The only time he has an impact is when he's controlling the middle by blocking and altering shots. But even then, for every blocked or altered shot, there's the bad defensie rotation which usually leads to a foul or an open layup.
Kobe is the most amazing shooter in today's game but apparently that's all the celtics are giving him. Most laker fans don't undersand that him hitting his outside shots is not gonna translate to victories especially against Boston. Keeping him out of the paint means Boston doesn't have to rotate and it doesn't give Kobe the option to give dumpoffs to gasol bynum and odom. This is keeping the lakers strictly one dimensional.
in other words kobe wont be shooting and making those tough shots all the time.
this is now an interesting situation here. I wonder if the C's heard or will listen to Phil jax's comment on them during the time out.. i hope its an inspiration for them to recreate the beantown beatdown they gave the lakers 2 years ago.
bynum is seriously overrated 30 minutes and 1 rebound on a critical game!? LMAO
Ray allen won't be cold the entire series... a trip back to LA might remind him of his hot streak im counting and hoping for it.

I've been saying Celtics in 6 since the start of this series, but after seeing the ratings recently, you KNOW the league is going to try to push this to 7 games. There is no doubt in my mind that the Lakers will have a 10-15 FTA lead after the game is over.
come on C's!!! FINISH THEM OFF!!!
i just hope that ray's jumpshot gets back to counter all the BS calls the lakers will get in game 6.
as much as people are in awe of kobe's shots falling on tough angles it takes a lot out of him too.... its going to be difficult for him to find that touch the C's have the lakers on their throats time to stomp on it and end this series.
come on C's!!! FINISH THEM OFF!!!
oh yeah there is no way this doesn't go to game 7. Reminds me of our own Sac/LA series a few years ago. Refs will try to make it happen.
Absolutely. I hope Celtics fans aren't getting all excited about this. There's no way they win Game 6. Chris Webber will tell you, just like he was told in 2002.
