OKC deals: Jeff Green and Eric Maynor

Kings deal: Jason Thompson and Omri Casspi

Why for the Kings - I think both players start for us. Sure we lose Casspi, but I think Green is better. Maynor would be a great fit next to Tyreke.

Why for OKC - I don't think they want to pay Green the big bucks ths off-season and taking a flier on Thompson's size and fit might be worth it. Casspi is probably better suited off the bench and has a lot of value here to replace some of the production of Green for OKC.

Kings new roster:

C: Dalembert, Cousins, Whiteside
PF: Landry, Jackson
SF: Green, Greene, Wright
SG: Evans, Garcia, Head
PG: Maynor, Beno, Jeter

I would do that trade in a heart beat and while were at it lets throw in Head for a seat cushion. Seriously, I like this trade. I think Green would be a great addition and Maynor would also be a great fit Tyreke and let GREENE actaully back up Green.

This is something I agreed with on another forum suggested by a OKC fan. I think it's a fair trade, and as much as I would hate to see Casspi go Green is an upgrade at this point and it would swing us a PG who can shoot and defend.
