"The Heart of the Game" Coming Soon

I don't have my Sac Bee Sunday Ticket handy...but when I was reading it today, I noticed in the highlights of the new films opening this week that the high school girls basketball documentary will be opening later this week somewhere in Sacramento.

Will post more info as it becomes available. May make for a nice boardster field trip or for a nice movie review discussion thread.

Several weeks ago, while I was watching another movie at the Tower Theatre on Broadway Avenue, I saw the preview for "The Heart Of The Game" movie.

So, my guess is that the movie will be shown there.

Maybe it might also be shown at The Crest on K Street, but I'm not sure about that.

Since the movie is a documentary, I doubt it will be shown in the major multiplexes (Century Theatre, Natomas 16 Theaters, etc.) in town.

I like the TOWER & CREST...both are classic theaters...I'm up for a matinee, if I'm not working. Sundays are better for me. Sounds like a fun outing.

Anybody up for a group outing to Tower next week? We can either do a weeknight or a weekend day. I can't do next Sunday, but am pretty free the rest of the week.

I'm in if scheduling permits. I have a pretty open schedule this next week (and weekend) except for Monarchs games next Thurs and Sun nights.

Edit: oops! Not available on Friday. Got my birthday dinner at Red Lobster.

Let me throw out either an 8pm showing on Weds, or a matinee on Saturday. I think its an 1:45-ish minute film so we could get out at a decent time on a school night.

Don't wait on me folks...just tell me how it is, so I can go check it out when I get to my 5 days off next Friday the 18th. Hey anyone know when our playoff game will be by fact or guessing? I know the Sparks play on the road Friday, then at home on the 20th & 22nd. So I'm guessing we may play at home on Sat? Darn if it is, I'll have to miss my Shakira concert!

Wha tha???? The Sparks know when they are playing already? They don't even know who they are playing yet.

We must get that Thurs/Sat/Mon series then.
