In the third full installment of the Donté Greene Show, Donté takes us to Carl's Jr. for an off-day lunch, shows us his shoe collection, then we follow him and Jason Thompson as they check out a local college basketball game.

I hope he's spending a lot of time in the weight room working off all those calories. Hawes takes it a little more seriously. Spencer started eating better as part of his training regiment, suggested by the strengh coach.

After hearing that Donte doesn't workout after practice like JT & Spencer, I'm kind of worried that Donte isn't taking his career seriously enough especially after seeing his eating habits.

that may be the case but he was pretty effective all around tonight at least.. 11 pts, 4 rebs, and 4 blks in 18 mins.. P.S. i really dont understand why he only gets 18 mins especially in a situation like tonight when we were short handed..

The boy can certainly eat, lol. But I really can't wait to see him get more minutes. I think last night was just a glimpse of what he could be.

Speaking of Spencer. Is anybody but me noticiing the definition in his arms that wasn't there last year of even at the begining of camp. Not just definition but the size of them as well. I think getting overpowered by guys like Oden really lit a fire under him to develope more upper body strength.

With his personality and his potential, I believe Donte' and not Kevin Martin will be the future face of the franchise. Hopefully he does take his career seriously and continue to improve himself.

tough to say that right now given what we have seen of Donte thus far (mainly that we havent seen him and he was a late first round pick), but with his personality, if Donte were as good as KMart is right now he would be a fringe household name nationwide imo.

Not really, I am seeing him get pushed around by guys like Darko Milicic though which is not ok.

No I didn't say he was pushing guys around. I was saying you can tell he is working on his upper body strength by looking at his arms, shoulders, and chest. he knows that it is a problem for him and he seems to be working on it. Thats a good sign.

The kid is 20. 20!!!!!! He can eat a vat full of sugar and lard and burn it off. I've been working out since I was 15 and I've always had a high metabolism, and at 31 my metabolism is quite higher than the average 31 yo because I'm constantly active, and part of my make up.

4 burgers is not going to kill. As Donte said look at Michael Phelps diet and his age.

Most rookie athletes have "poor diets"... I'm not going to judge him on what he eats on a TV show...

I think once Donte gets some more play time it'll light a fire under him to improve if he is as "lazy" as being reported...

Phelps eats a ton of calories when he's in training, but its not junk food. A lot of elite athletes can eat a lot of calories, even have to. But the smart ones eat healthy, too. Hopefully, Donte doesn't eat cheeseburgers all the time..

Yes, he is funny and has a great personality, but my biggest hope as a Kings fan is that he learns to move without the ball and not just stand outside the three point line waiting to get a chance to jack up a 30-footer.

Well being funny and having a personality doesn't preclude improving one's basketball skills.
