Thank you Rick for some of the most wonderful memories you brought to this franchise. I can't thank you enough for being an enourmous part of our golden era and while I think you never quite got the recognition you desrved, this fan will forver be greatful.
Good luck in what ever you decide to do next and may you look back at your time with the Kings as one of pride and joy because you deserve all the best.
Once again a very big thank you for what you have given us over the years.
Thanks, Rick. Before you came to the Kings we had nothing but a string of poor to average coaches. You showed fans in Sacramento what a good coach could do for a team.
Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to the Kings and to Sacramento. We'll miss you. You will not be easy to replace.
Thanks for everything you brought to the Kings, Rick! I'm really sad to see you go just like seeing the rest of the former long-time players leave. It'll be hard to find someone to replace your spot.
Also, thanks to assistants coaches for everything... especially Pete Carril.
Thank You Adelman, I have never seen a coach treated so unfairly, yet you were all about class. Thank you for being part of a group that turned this franchise around. Thank you for molding "trouble" players into all stars and MVP canidates. Thank you, I can't say that enoguh. Good Luck in the future.
Thanks you so much Rick for everything that you've done with this franchise! I will always appreciate you and good luck with whatever you choose to do.
It's definitely gonna be hard to replace a guy like you.
Rick, THANK YOU! Words will never explain what an amazing coach you are. I would never ever expect this day to come. But it has. Ha, you have been a great coach, turned this team around, led us in the playoffs 7 years straight. Great coach, this team will be awfully different to watch in the future without you. It's really hard to picture it. But as life goes on, good luck with your career and next team. You will be strongly missed ! THANK YOU SO MUCH, RICK !
Thanks Rick! If you have a future in the NBA again, I'll definately follow your team alongside with the Kings. You deserve all the respect in the world. These glorious days of the Kings are owed to you.
Thank you Rick Adelman, for proving you can be lead a team without being an egomaniacal control freak. Whichever team hires you next is in for a treat.
Thank you Rick Adelman, Elston Turner, T.R. Dunn, Bubba Burrage and Pete Carril. You guys will be missed. And now I have a sinking feeling in my stomach about the future.
Thank you so much Coach Adelman, for the glorious run of winning seasons and playoff appearances. Geez, its been a thrill! You've raised our expectations high and you will be very hard to replace. Some team and its fans are going to be lucky to have you. All the best to you and your family. (And I will miss your sense of humor!)
This feels somewhat unreal...I tried to prepare myself for this day when Rick Adelman isn't the coach for the Kings anymore I have been so used to seeing him standing in the sidelines for eight years. These past two seasons have been seasons of change and now this one is added to the list. With the changes this year and last year Rick was the constant and now he is gone. Thank you Rick Adelman for eight wonderful years of basketball. I hope Petrie and the Maloofs are able to find a coach that is able to have the success that Rick has had.
Thanks Rick, for introducing and implementing a fun and unselfish (if not sometimes infuriating) style of basketball.
Hope you find yourself a good job somewhere.
Before Rick Adelman, Sacramento Kings were not even a factor in the NBA. I remember the only thing to look for was if Mitch Richmond would get the scoring titled or not...
thanks rick, for everything. through it all you kept your class. you turned this francise around and will forever be remembered for all of your accomplishments. good luck in the future.
Thanks Rick. You did a great job in Sacramento. You consistently put one of the best teams out on the court, even in the face of adversity. You were always a class act. Good luck for the future and many thanks again.
Thanks Rick, for eight years of great basketball and for making me believe in the Sacramento Kings! Good luck. Hope you can find another team to turn around.
