Was indifferent on his hiring and didn’t agree with extending him, but he was exactly what the kings needed that first year and a great guy. He’s by no means a bad coach, but more of a stop gap HC. Still sad to see him fired and the way they went about it was not cool.

The one thing that we actually do know about Vivek is that he absolutely hates it when coaches call players out in public. Joerger trying to fight Buddy (however warranted) in the middle of a freaking close game probably sealed his fate more than the team flailing at the end of the season. George Karl constantly trying to get Boogie traded through the media got him canned more than him being a bad coach did.
